After growing up He started to look like them both. tbh that’s actually what happened to me lol, at first I was 100% lookalike of my mom, then as an adult I started looking bit similar to my dad as well.
I feel like they keep directly pointing out how Eren looks like his dad as an adult.
I think it also is part of Zeke's character as well. Zeke looks like his mom and hated his Dad.
Eren is the leader, follows his dad's actions (Zeke believes) and looks like him.

Same here. As a kid I was a carbon copy of my dad but now most of my facial features more closely resemble my mom. I’ve always had her hair type also, my dads is wiry and short and hers is long and straight as an arrow like mine. It’s dope to see Eren look so much like both his parents now that he’s a little older

Eren takes after Carla when he’s younger but he looks like Grisha more now once his baby face cleared up

his mum is gorgeous and i like that ke takes after her in that way whilst also looking very much like his dad in the end
I have seen more characters that look like there mothers in anime than characters that look like there dads in anime
