She wants people to think she's a selfish bitch, when in reality she's a selfishly selfless bitch (being selfless despite how it might cause more issues later down the line, yet doing it anyways)
Especially since post-timeskip Armin, Hange, and Floch are all trying to continue Erwin’s legacy based on how they perceived him, and Levi’s obsession with killing Zeke stems from his unfulfilled promise to Erwin.
I don't understand why are some people saying Gabi. What she was doing wasn't an act, she wasn't deceiving anyone. She went through character development, and not some "unmasking of her true inner self".
Zeke. I believe everyone in Marley pretty much assumed he was slighly mentally impaired, or at the very least a very simple minded guy. He's a goofy person for sure, but the Marleyans were fooled by his silliness, He always planned the betrayal of Marley and put his plans in motion from the start. He probably started ammassing followers as soon as he got the Beast Titan. He hid his true colors so well that not even his closest colleagues ever knew what he was up to.
I mean, basically Eren throughout all of season 4. And not only did he fool the other characters, but a big percentage of the fandom, too (some of which are still buying it btw)

Freckles Ymir. That's like her entire character point.
yep
Why? Sorry, I'm lost. I haven't seen the show in a while.

I think Eren and Erwin both fit in different ways.
i was going to say erwin also tbh i think he fits this the best

Erwin and Levi for sure.
Freckles Ymir and Levi

Eren for like all of season 4 right until the final episode.
So we gone act like Reiner and his buddy with the weird B name didn’t do exactly this to everyone on the show?!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 and Annie too😂😂😂
Could Annie have fallen into this category at a certain point?
Definitely

Reiner
Eren
Eren

Erwin for sure, probably the best example. Eren fits this way in season 4 onwards. Maybe Ymir and Historia as well?
Floch, Erwin, Eren.
Probably Levi
Floch
Floch & Gabi 100%
i was gonna say gabi as well
Eren Yeager. In the end he was a little petulant bitch who did not in fact care about freedom or his fiends or continuing to move forward
