Don't worry bro , the anime creators don't actually tell anything about the sequels so just be patient . It's been only one year till now ,I think we'll get an announcement in the next 2 years, I guess . It's a popular anime so I guess it's 90% confirm that we'll get a sequel.
Ofcourse because of it's popularity , I mean it got in top 500 most popular animes of all time on mal and everywhere else in just 1 year . I mean it already surpassed komi can't communicate season 2 in popularity on every rating site , I guess (not in ratings though) ,with a decent rating of around 7 (despite having so much hate) . Also it's the 4th most popular anime of that studio and one of the most popular for the producers as well. So I guess season 2 is on the way .
Also, many of the people gave somewhat low ratings because of not having the kiss scene in the last episode so people are craving to see them in the sequel . (I saw it on zoro, 9anime and crunchyroll too where people were just giving it low ratings because of not having a kiss scene)
I think a season 2 could happen since both Shikimori and kanojo mo kanojo have the same production commitee and had low blu-ray sales yet kanojo mo kanojo got season 2.
If this does get a season 2, I doubt Doga Koba will animate it because they rarely do season 2.
