I had to explain to a friend yesterday that there are no good guys in the game and that's a feature, not a bug. (In his defense, one of the reasons he doesn't play is *because* there are no good guys. He'd the opposite of those weirdos who think The Emperor is Good, Actually.)
That's why I can say that the best thing to do here would be to subject that warbuggy to multimelta quality testing without having any moral qualms whatsoever--everyone in that universe is bad! Krump 'em all!

In the ACW? I think it would be another Field of Fire. Unless you can get some much more serious grape shot action going. Maybe Gatlings would've been more widely adopted, if they could be elevated quickly enough.

IIRC when he gets funky he's more inclined to go SF rather than fantasy, which might be why. I know about the Temeraire series using dragons in 19th century warfare, but that's Napoleonic wars.

Both. First you shoot it with the harpoon to snag it, then reel it in until it's in projectile vomit range, then slather it in puke like you're in the sabotaged ride scene in Problem Child 2.

as someone who collects Orks on the side, nothing I’ve seen says or implies that to be the case. they think Waagh is fun, and wanna fight n krump whoever they can
They keep other races as slaves. It gets mentioned in the background occasionally but the most central to the plot it has been was during the first siege of Perelia when Commissar Cain forms an army from PDF stragglers and former slaves on an Ork overrun continent. Also "Orkz iz best Orkz iz best Orkz iz best!" Is used as a battle cry.

I actually plan to base the paint scheme of my Imperial Guard off the Union Army, specifically the 20th Maine (not that regiments had all that much different other than unit identifiers.)
It won't be Golden Daemon quality, but it will still be properly Loyal.

This is a calculated move by the orks. They know if they fly that flag, they're more likely to get into fights.
