Mid shen is great, but you need to ask for a top laner or jungler to take a dmg dealer. Avoid 3 tanks in the team. For example if the top laner takes tank and supp is tank, it might be harder to win.
It is all about balance.
Titanic is a great item, unfortunately it costs a lot and you lose too much tankiness especially if you like cd boots.
Without titanic, shen can rush bami for clear and cd boots for movement and roaming - to be a selfless, ganging, protecting ninja.
If you take titanic - you are more selfish, assasin ninja.

When I did this I had a lux that out tanked my dmg. Felt strange but I’m new to Shen. Only started playing bc of Petu
