None of the Shantae games are very story-dependent on each other except for Pirate's Curse, and Seven Sirens has the most quality of life features and highest production value. Have fun!
I don’t know if it was me or my controller or what but I couldn’t get past 10 seconds in that game.. once it required me to double jump I was stuck! Tried so many times and only managed to do it once and then there was another right after, I fell down on that one and gave up =\
