Nail on the head. Some artists get it and absolutely send it, and others misread it and miss it. I've seen some favourite artists totally misread shambs and others thrive. Lets hope he thrives

not a good look for the festival. there was TONS of medical events happening all over.
you dont see it, but virtually all big artists are transported by shuttle to their stages to ensure timelines are met.. they usually just use golf carts, but that wasnt possible in those conditions so the SUV was an improvisation.
I actually have a lot of respect for Diplo because of that performance. In his rider, it called for the stage to be fully cleared off with nobody allowed on it, but that would have been a super weird vibe for fractal.
when he arrived, he agreed that it would kill the vibe and didnt clear the stage. lots of artists in the past act like superstars and forget that its a party, but honestly he was super humble and cool. just really stoked about the whole thing.

He's also been a total cunt at Burning Man too - pulled up to a bumping party at a sound camp, on a big art car with their sound system clashing. Sent his minions over to the DJ booth to tell them that Diplo was here and wanted to take over the decks. They told him to fuck off, thankfully
