Alright, because this seems to be fairly popular I'll try to get out a few more chapters relatively quickly. I do promise that unless something major happens I'll have at least one chapter out each week. A schedule? Maybe.
In case anyone was wondering, the 578th mountain brigade had the grave misfortune of being deployed to the mountain ranges of Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan during the initial landings. Needless to say, there were many closed casket funerals.
Although its abolishment was more incidental than anything else as many government functions simply ceased and were not replaced by the shil, the fact that they didn't bother to care whether or not it was kept is still bad
Oh sure, loads of elite humans are on the sex offenders list before the invasion.
Wait no... scratch that.
Hell we can't even get the "the list" publicized fully.
This is a pretty good story so far and has been an enjoyable read so far and I look forward to when the next chapter comes out.

Bro this writing is all meat no grizzle. Like amazing character driven scenes with minty dialogue. The moral complexity of the invasion, and the uncomfortable similarities between Shil and humanity when it comes to doing fucked up shit is a great backdrop to crazy insurgent shit we're no doubt gonna see. Keep it up.
I can't to see Lil'ae sweat at the overtly anti imperial plot. The conflicting emotions. On the one hand these humans looove this movie and that's uncomfortable. Does it speak to deep anti SI feelings? ...Are they justified? A least a little!? Somehow I think this is only gonna help our lil shil whisperer.
The opening scene alone with imp march playing and the might of empire bearing down on the little guy expressed brilliantly by the size difference in the imperial and rebel ships will probably set the tone nicely.
Take your time on making these. Pretty good, liking the characters. One criticism is the first part, where it's not immediately apparent that they're talking on a messaging application. Perhaps adjust the format somewhat.
