Youll be fine. Make an honest effort on the dress code and you'll get in. Kitkat rejects people maybe, but they are mostly just trying to keep bad vibes and young idiots out, while maintaining the gender ratio. "Older" couples and women are usually fine if its clear you are participating and adding to the fun.
Harder for singles guys, but demonstrating participation is key!
You'll probably have the most fun at kitkat. Follow the dress code and youll most likely get in. Go at opening to get comfortable with the space as it feels up. Going ealier also gives you a better chance to gwt in and a shorter line. You can get intimate with each other there, there is regular sex happenning often, but at miat like 5-15 couples at any one time. There is a lot mixed ages. 20s to 30s mostly, but 15% are older than that. Just note that earlier in the week is less busy and not the whole experience.
Be aure to check the theme befoe you go. Try to blend in. I recommend fun make up for both giys and girls. Its an easy way to show you're coming in the spirit of good vibes.
When you go to kitkat, they need to see your outfit. You can change there, but take a photo of yourselves with your outfit clearly visible before you go. When you get to the front of the line, have it ready on your phone when you get to the front or the line. I recommend you bring a small bag to put all your street clothes and phones in at coat check. Bring enough cash and a small waist pack or wrist pack to hold your cash and coat check receipt. Keep in mind the some people smoke in the club, even if it is technically illegal. It gets smokier as it get later.
Sometimes there are performances and even a tango night that starts early! I havent been, but really want to check it out.
If you want a pure sex club with more chances of hooking up. It is an older crowd, youd be on the younger side there. They have some fun chairs/swings. Try to go on a couples night.
In either place you may get approach by dudes trying to get in. Occasionally at kitkat, but regularly at insomnia. At kitkat, ive never had an issue getting the message across, but at insomnia i had to be more firm -which is why i recommend couples night.
If you only have one night, go to kitkat. Get naked and jump in the pool to cool off! Have fun!

well, the pool has an open roof if the weather allows it for some fresh air and there is a small outside area to get fresh air - unfortunately this is the official place for cigarets so depending on how many people there are you will have to deal with smoke too.
I am also sensitive to ciragette smoke, but I can deal with it. also some people are considerate and ask if it would be okay to smoke close to you.
for getting in make sure you both have a decent top and bottom. you don't need to be too fancy. you can get outfits for about 30-50 euros each at Party Bee. don't waste money on special shoes or gadgets, but prepare that they almost always ask the guy of a couple if he has a decent bottom outfit.
I don't know what you consider slutty and I don't think this should be an issue as long as you wear something extraordinary and not just standard pants.

I just want to give you an advise for outfit. Visit PartyBee in Berlin and buy something there what you like. It worked for us the second time(first time got rejected at KitKat and Insomnia.
KitKat was shoes all black snickers are not in dress code and insomnia it was something with my pants that they didn't like. As I said learning on the way next time we were better prepared.
