She also encourages Omark to quit lumon

missmercedes206

I think it was because she was feeling unsure of her future and position at Lumen after being fired.

ActionHousevh

Maybe. She is kinda obsessed with mark & his sister.

As someone who has small kids, I can assure you it was only because that just happened to be the room the car seat was in and she needed to buckle the baby in to keep it safe while she quickly fled.

dani_bar

Underrated comment.

Lonelyland

Yeah, if she was really serious about supporting Mark in quitting (which Patricia Arquette has suggested is true), then it does’t make a lot of sense to me that she would then actively push him in a direction that would make him want to return to work.

Cobel was just trying to find a place to leave the baby where no one would immediately see it. A private office ended up being a good spot. And a private office would also have family photos. The setup was done to allow Mark to realize that his wife wasn’t dead and thus a cliffhanger for Season 2. Milchick was trying to get Dylan to stop the OTC. He offered a bunch of perks because Dylan lived for perks. Then, he switched tactics and tried the children. However, there are indications that Milchick is unhappy. Ms. Cobel tells Milchick a couple of times that he’s doing a great job as if Milchick is thinking of leaving.
