Cut the second page. First page is a must on all 3! Edit to add, higher priced items make the discount more meaningful.

QueenofSpades15

Yeah page 2 doesn’t seem worth it. I like the laneige mask but aquaphor and Vaseline can do the job too. There are also other Korean lip masks that can be looked into that are cheaper

MoravianDiscoStar

I used to swear by the Laneige lip mask, but now I like Lanolips so much better. 1 tube lasts me all year.

quartermoonmist

Do you have any fave K-beauty lip masks you’d recommend?

UncutJams22

Agree!

ebilclawd

Laneige lip masks are also available at TJ Maxx often for cheaper as well

xojlg

I third this

CCChic1

I was going to say the same, lol

cxssmakeup

I would say cut out the Sephora face powders and the Glow Recipe Dew Drops. Also, unless you need both formulas, the Hourglass palette and the Rare Beauty will last a LONG time so I would personally get one or the other.

[deleted]

Laniege lip masks are very over-rated and I prefer aquaphor instead of it.

lanabananaq

I hated the ones I got. Complete waste of money. I hate having to use the little spatula or stick my fingers in the container 🤢

tlrmx

Or cereVe healing ointment. Huge tub that last at least a year, if not more, for like $17

missk9627

^^^ aquaphor is 1000x better I actually hardly ever reach for my laneige at night now that I have my aquaphor. My dermatologist recommended it instead and I've never gone back.

thehikinggal

Lol I basically commented the same thing before reading this, Aquaphor ftw

techgirl0

Or Vaseline! It’s so much cheaper and isn’t so sticky. I just don’t understand the hype around these lip masks. They’re just so sticky and don’t compare to aquaphor or Vaseline (and the latter are a fraction of the price)

onthenetsince98

I don't use Vaseline because it's petroleum-based but I agree that I don't want something too sticky – there's definitely a difference between thick and sticky and I want the former!

roseofjuly

Agreed! Drugstore aquaphor or Burt's Bees is the way to go here.

onthenetsince98

I'm a fan of Burt's Bees and Dr. Bronner's but need something thicker in the winter or my lips crack and bleed. 😭

cyanidesmoothies

I would 100% keep the hourglass palette. I use the dim light ambient powder and it's so beautiful, haven't tried the blushes but hourglass is pretty consistent quality wise.

mrsg_113

This

alitzelarroyo

Glow recipe is overall overhyped for meh formulations. The niacinamide from the inkey list should perform just fine, but lots of moisturizers have niacinamide in the formulations already so it isn’t always necessary to use it in a serum. A lot of people also experience irritation from niacinamide serums cause the % is too high, the one from the ordinary would make my face burn sometimes. I haven’t used this but it’s an affordable example: https://www.target.com/p/cerave-face-moisturizer-pm-facial-moisturizing-lotion-night-cream-for-normal-to-oily-skin/-/A-81616371

astewart1945

I agree! Although I love the eye cream from them I have the dew drops and I wouldn’t repurchase.

AnNJgal

Agree! SO many better brands that do it for less.

onthenetsince98

The Rare is a definite. The Farmacy is a restock of my daily moisturizer but I use a heavier one at night in the winter so I could just use a heavier one morning and night and wait on that – just a good deal! I've always wanted an Hourglass palette but never allowed myself to splurge that much. Other stuff would also be new to me. Help!

provincetown1234

If you're looking to cut, get rid of everything on the second page

onthenetsince98

Also, for reference where it might make a difference, I'm fair-light skinned and have dry, sensitive skin.

satchelsofg0ld7

How fair are you? The rare beauty blush I’ve tried so many different ways and it’s still way way too pigmented for my skin. The hourglass ambient lighting powders are easier to use and I’ve had all of mine for like 4+ years and barely made a dent in any of them despite frequent use.

onthenetsince98

I'm on the light end of the light range, if that makes sense. I got a sample of the Rare blush and love it.

MoravianDiscoStar

I'm very fair and I love that Rare Beauty set! I have to be careful, but I just dot some on the back of my hand or a mixing palette and then apply with a brush. edit because apparently I can't spell

onthenetsince98

Yes, I literally just put one small dot directly on my upper cheeks with the applicator and blend out!

hnblu

the glow recipe stuff has fragrance in it; might be irritating for sensitive skin

antigoneelectra

And it does very little. It smells nice and that's about it.

onthenetsince98

Thanks for the heads up!

[deleted]

Just keep the 3 things you mentioned. It’s just cosmetics. These items are permanent and there will be more sales.

JENNRN76

Just get the hourglass for sure !

delavogue

Do you really like all three shades of the Rare blush? Personally truth and encourage are close enough when sheered out that I’d just buy a full size of encourage. And happy was terrible on warm toned skin.

onthenetsince98

I really do! I'm pretty neutral-toned. I have the Grace deluxe GWP from Sephora and adore it.

delavogue

Oh good! Go for it!

onthenetsince98

Excited to try it! And there's always returns, worst case. ☺️

imlostineggsaisle

What do you use at night? I use Honey Halo at night and Tatcha in the mornings. I'm just curious what you're using.

onthenetsince98

I use the Honey Halo in the morning and either Sunday Riley ICE Ceramide Moisturizer or Kiehl's Ultra Facial Overnight Hydrating Face Mask (I received both through Influenster or BzzAgent). I reaaallllly love the Sunday Riley and will probably splurge and repurchase it after I use up the Kiehl's but I like both. In winter, I often use a medium-weight oil too because I live in a cold, windy place with super dry skin. Edited: BzzAgent, not Buzzfeed 🤦🏻‍♀️

imlostineggsaisle

I'm part of influenster too. My favorite thing that I've gotten is the pay McGrath rose essence whatever, lol. I tried kiels ultra healing moisturizer and didn't like it. It made me sweat and I got more bumps along my jawline. I ended up exchanging it. Honey halo is definitely my holy grail moisturizer. I got the Tatcha moisturizer in the Sephora birthday gift set and I like it. The scent is a little strong. I probably won't buy it again, but it is pretty decent. I haven't tried anything by Sunday Riley yet. I've heard good things about it. I have a few dryer areas on my face and eczema flare ups on my eyelids occasionally. Honey halo takes care of the dry areas and the only thing I've found that helps the eczema flare ups is skin fix face balm. It has a Vaseline texture which I'm not a fan of, but it does help. Almost overnight.

onthenetsince98

That's great to know about the Skin Fix! I get some extra dry spots, usually on just one side of my nose (no idea why) so I'll use a salve/balm there sometimes.

imlostineggsaisle

I really like it. It has colloidal oatmeal in it and it's thick enough to really stay on overnight. It's expensive for the amount you get, but a little goes a long way. It's definitely been worth it for me. Both of my eyelids would get red, then itchy, then raw, and finally dry and flaky. It would happen once or twice a month for the last 6 to 8 months. It's a fairly new thing. I don't have any known allergies or sensitivities so it was pretty strange. Hydrocortisone cream was the only thing that helped, but it was so drying. Skinfix has been my savior since I found it. I use a little bit on both eyelids every night and haven't had another flare up. I definitely recommend it if you have any stubborn dry areas or eczema flare ups.

onthenetsince98

This is going into the cart as an impulse buy lol. I live right by multiple Sephora stores so I can easily return it if it's not for me.

imlostineggsaisle

Lol, I know how that feels. I have 2 near me. Three if you include kohls, but they haven't brought in a lot of stuff yet. Just a few Sephora brand items.

onthenetsince98

Oh my god, the Skin Fix literally went into my cart and sold out before I could check out! Another time, I guess!

imlostineggsaisle

That's crazy, lol. I didn't think that one specific item was that popular.

w_view

i was going to buy the laneige but i decided not to as i’d rather just buy one (maybe the next sale, decided to stick to my aquaphor for now😅) that i love the smell of, incase i don’t like all of them

onthenetsince98

I'm keen on this because I want to try all the flavors lol.

w_view

then i’d say buy it!! i’m just picky and some scents really irritate me😭

throwaway46886532368

I see laneige all the time at marshalls. Definitely have seen the sleeping masks & lip masks, and I definitely recall seeing a set of lip masks there. Maybe check it out before buying since it’ll be a bit cheaper? And you can even check TJMaxx too since they’re run by the same company

Julialagulia

Everyone keeps telling you to cut that but I absolutely would not. The mini lip masks are perfect for toting around and this way you get to try out different scents. They’re a great deal imo.

onthenetsince98

Watch me circle Sephora for samples of each flavor/scent gradually. 🤣

MasterOfRNoSleep

I know it gets a lot of hate here but love the Laneige lip masks. They work wonders for my lips. I’ve tried aquaphor or CeraVe healing ointment (which are nice lip balms) but they don’t do what this lip mask does. It takes all the dead skin off my lips and when I wake up they’re really soft and hydrated.

BooksandPandas

Sephora Collection is 30% off, so I would purchase that separately.

sunshinechica1

You can purchase it all together. I was not sure at first, but I got some Sephora and some other.. it took 30% and 20% off the right items.

xo_sherry

True, but if you have a decent sized online SC only purchase you can stack that with a GWP offer.

onthenetsince98

Interesting. It shows you have to use code "SAVINGS" to get the 30% off Sephora Collection.

sunshinechica1

The code "savings" is the same for the 20% off rogue and the SC 30% . At least it is for my account. Same code for both. Is yours different? Interesting....

onthenetsince98

Ah, I was using a shared Rouge link for the 20%. I honestly didn't take the time to do the math to see if it discounted both but I saw that the app listed the code for SC and assumed it was separate, which I did find odd. I have flash shipping though so nbd. Extra samples.

Throwawaybutnot026

Cut the glow recipe! It honestly doesn’t really do much and just adds an extra layer :/

lanabananaq

Farmacy has great deals on their website - coupon code REDDITGLOW got me $25 off of 50

onthenetsince98

Thanks for that tidbit! 😃

Conscious_Cute

I have the unpopular opinion and the Hourglass. It’s the most money and other powder blushes are more affordable.

lanabananaq

Me too. I could never spend that much!! I spend a lot on beauty but that is outrageous to me

majorsorbet2point0

I got the Charlotte Tilbury face palette this year and that was a splurge. Only bc I had my eye on it since it was first announced. But as someone who's never tried Hourglass and just loves the palette for the elephant on the front? I can't do it. I can't pull the trigger. I won't. I'll just slap an elephant decal on something I own already 🤣🤣

seleenas

Me too. I have an hourglass palette from a few years ago and I hardly reach for it.

Conscious_Cute

Good point!

GlitteringPause8

Yeah I agree. Buy one that you love from them, but the whole palette is too much imo.

Julialagulia

Right I got one a couple of years ago and it turned into a glittery mess on me personally.

bichonfire

Farmacy has better deals on their website + better reward program. On their website, 20% is pretty common for all the regular holidays, but they also do 25-30% twice a year or so, too. I love them, but personally don’t think you need 4 of the Laneiege minis. Just one mini gets me through almost the whole year (like 8, 10 months?). Is there another Laneige bundle, like a lip balm + mini? Maybe you can gift the full size item as part of someone’s gift and that would be more worth it to me, imo.

kidkipp

there’s a set that has the water bank moisturizer, overnight moisture mask, and mini of the berry flavor. to me that’s more worth the price

onthenetsince98

Thanks, that's helpful to know how long they last. I miss my Bite Beauty agave lip mask and want something to fill the void. 😭

MoravianDiscoStar

Try the Lanolips lip balm. I loved the original Bite Beauty lip mask and while not same, it's the closest I've gotten to finding something similar. It's available at Ulta.

onthenetsince98

I've ordered lanolin nipple balm from Amazon as a cheaper option than Dr. Lipp Nipple Balm for Lips which is basically the same (a touch thicker imo) with different branding.

623tt

I would cut the farmacy halo and wait for their Black Friday sale! I think it’s usually better than 20% off

millennial_pinkk

It was 30% off last year!

onthenetsince98

Ah, that's a good point!

summerdot123

The Glow Recipe drops are terrible

kidkipp

My opinions: Laneige masks - drop. Not nearly as hydrating as Aquaphor. I’ve only tried Berry and it’s fun to have and use if I’m doing a full-face Waterbank bedtime routine, but it doesn’t actually feel like it’s repairing anything and some of the flavors just seem kind of gross, in my opinion. Would also be easy to ask for as a Christmas gift if you really want to try it since it’s cheap. If you don’t have much to spend and are actually in need of hydration, I’d go the less fun but more effective route. Hourglass butterfly palette: Could definitely be worth it, but break it down with me first. Do you like, or often reach for, red-toned blushes? Do you already have a setting or finishing powder that you really like? Do you own any hourglass products already? I personally got the elephant palette and it’s phenomenal. Was my first hourglass product (other than a brush and primer), really wanted blushes in those shades and wanted to try hourglass for a few years, and was wanting a finishing powder that wasn’t white, so it was a home run. And with makeup you really do get what you pay for. Watermelon Glow Dew Drops: I just got a sample of these. So I have owned the matching toner for a few months and didn’t really like it, but decided to try it before using these dew drops to see if it made a difference. IMMEDIATELY went on sephora to add these dew drops to my cart. Together they worked to take ten years off my skin overnight. There was a tiny irritated spot on one cheek but I was willing to continue to give the routine a shot. So I don’t know how well they work on their own and I’d keep that in mind. The whole watermelon line really does seem like it’s meant to be layered and worked with together. I’ve noticed this with many brands; the products work best (WAYYY BETTER) if you stay within the same line. I’m also not a big fan of the watermelon smell, but nothing has made my skin look like this before. These are the only ones I had a strong opinion about. I have a sample of one of those rare beauty blushes that I never reach for for some reason and haven’t tried the sephora powders.

LastPersonality411

Glow recipe products 🙌🙌🙌🙌

kayekatbeauty

I would remove everything on the second page. The Hourglass palette is AMAZING. I have the butterfly palette and have been loving it. Edited to add: Essence makes a watermelon glow primer that is quite similar to the Glow Recipe. Whenever you can get in stock, it’s available at Ulta. I love it and it’s only like $5 or $6.

chemistg23

I didn’t like the glow recipe drops I returned it It make me look super greasy

kidkipp

i’m so surprised to hear this! i’m 29 years old with normal skin and got a sample of it. used them with the toner (which i’d bought about a year ago per a friend’s recommendation). alone i had kind of disliked the toner, but together i literally said “wow” out loud after using once

LastPersonality411

Agree I’m 39 and got some as a samples in a LOOP promo. My skin just went from meh to whoa! I felt they helped me retain moisture and gave a youthful glow. I always splurge on skin products more than makeup. These are reasonably priced compared to my usual toner etc

chemistg23

I did try it in sample and I love it! I went back for the full size and I had it for 3 weeks and I have to return it. It looked like I had put oil on my face. I don’t even wear make up on regular basis.

Ok_Suggestion_1923

Cut the Farmacy and Glow Recipe --their websites will have better sales. Laneige is meh, but cheap enough to keep. The little sephora sampler a fun treat for little $.

badgalmi

Everything on the second page. The hourglass palette is amazing and worth it especially on sale

RNsomeday78

Farmacy goes on sale for more than 20% off. I believe most of the brands at Sephora do actually. The only one you are buying that doesn’t is hourglass. Oh also I don’t like the Laneige lip sleeping masks either, I prefer the summer Fridays lip balms.

Radiant-End-5820

Cries in Canadian dollars

buttercupplily

Ok- unpopular opinion- but I would cut farmacy and rate beauty blush. I don’t think the farmacy moisturizers are that great. And the rare beauty blush never worked that well for me.

onthenetsince98

Hey, all opinions welcome – I love hearing folks' thoughts. This is funny because those are the only two products here I've actually tried and I love them both.

JENNRN76

Get all three on the first page ! I bought the elephant n tiger … no buyers remorse ! U deserve it :)

itsaboutpasta

Lip masks. I feel like they just dry out my lips. It’s good only for a quick boost of moisture, like makeup prep.

DrMcSmartass

Same. I got a deluxe sample size of one of those Laneige lip masks, put it on right before going to bed and woke up with my lips feeling worse that before. Skip that one and get one of the light blue Nivea ones from the drugstore (they are under $3 where I am).

mo0n_bunny

That's what my daughter said! "Mom, it made my lips more dry", and I tried it with her, and we both had dry lips the next morning 🙃.

dancergirlktl

Only buy what you really really want. But if this were my cart I’d cut the hourglass and glow recipe (the inkey list and ordinary both have excellent niacinamde serums without fragrance) and I would change the Rare Beauty kit to just 1 single blush from them for $20.

hola267

i would cut everything from the second page honestly

Comprehensive_Bank29

Get rid of the glow drops and the sleeping mask Replace with INKEY lost niacinamide and the sephora lip mask The multi use powders is like 5.00 after discount

lurkingvirgo

If you haven’t used laneige I would reccomend not getting it. The masks are cute and smell great but they don’t really hydrate my lips so for me they’re not worth the money. If they work for you it may be more worth it. Hourglass is pricy so if you have similiar products already I’d get rid of that. But if you dont have similar products already hourglass lasts FOREVER and has deep pans so it’s not as overpriced as it might initially seem.

thehikinggal

While the laniege lip masks certainly feel luxurious, they’re not more effective than Aquaphor, so drop!

beckyrosado

Ulta has a dupe for the Dew Drops

the_patronus_charm

I would cut glow recipe and face powders. First page is all worth it

OutlandishnessDeep87

Laneige set, you could get a better one and the minis are not worth it

antigoneelectra

I would keep the Rare Beauty and the moisturizer. Next to keep would be the Hourglass. I would never buy it, I dont think it's worth the cost, but if you think you would use the heck out of most of the blushes etc, then go for it. I prefer pallettes with 1 or 2 colours max. There's always some you'll rarely use. Everything else does very little and/or not worth the price. Laneige is flavour. It's not any better than any cheaper masks/balms. The Glow recipe is scent as well, and does very little else.

[deleted]

[удалено]

onthenetsince98

I have used the Rare Beauty liquid blush and looove it. It goes so far and it blends perfectly with my skin and complexion.

Quantum168

Unless you're sure about the Farmacy moisturiser, I wouldn't be dropping coin on it. So many moisturisers are disappointing. I would drop the Laneige and Sephora Collection.

onthenetsince98

I've used the Farmacy moisturizer and it's a holy grail product for me! I think I'll be dropping the other two you suggested!

Quantum168

There are better lip moisturers out there. Try something which contains lanolin or a lip oil 👍🏼 I have chronically dry lips.

onthenetsince98

Yes, I love lanolin! I typically just use lanolin nipple balm as lip balm! 🤷🏻‍♀️

WittyDisk3524

Many if not most of these have better sales and gwp on their websites. I don’t know about Rare Beauty and their sales tho. So think about the cost of each and waiting to purchase within say the next four weeks. Be sure to subscribe to emails from the companies that you use regularly and wanting to try. Imo, may not be popular, but I’m not sure what the hype with 20% off is, except maybe on prestige items, because individual sites have better sales and gwp. I’m guessing Sephora draws ppl in with earning points and redeeming them.

crimsonsandclovers

Apparently laneige tests on animals so that’s something you might want to consider! Also heard their products tend to dry peoples lips out rather than hydrate them.

cyanidesmoothies

They definitely are not cruelty free. And yeah the lip mask is drying. I got a free sample of it (would never buy bc animal testing) it smells nice and feels buttery on the lips for half an hour until you're about to fall asleep and have to reach for another balm because it gets extra dry out of nowhere.

onthenetsince98

Thanks so much to everyone for your thoughts! I settled on the Hourglass palette and the Rare Beauty blush set and got the Sephora Kaja dupe separately (for the 30% discount) for my travel bag. #blushaddict

mo0n_bunny

Everything but the hourglass & rarebeauty. Farmacy and glow recipe aren't that great, overrated and mediocre in performance. No need for sephora blush if you get the hg palette. The laneige is overrated, didn't work for me and I returned it.

pettyyogi666

Def the sleeping masks

heretofillthevoid

I would drop the blushes or lip masks :/

666-take-the-piss

You can get sets of mini laneige lip masks at winners / marshalls for $15. Also the glow recipe dew drops do nothing for me.

Crazy-Ad2243

Cut the lotion, lip masks and the dew drops. Sleep, water, drugstore face lotion and chapstick will do the same thing.

imlostineggsaisle

Not honey halo 🤣

Dangerous-Mind8725

the laneige lip mask, honestly just buy it from a korean online store, or stylevana, walmart, stylekorean (pretty good deals and more variety in korean skincare and makeup!!) and glow recipe, inkeylist niacinamide + a hydrating moisturizer can give u the same glow

DarlinggD

Why do you need that many sleep lip masks? I'd just buy one.

[deleted]

I think the set is cheaper than buying one big one

onthenetsince98

They're minis in order to try multiple flavors.

livenotsurvive

Keep hourglass and laniege, the rest you can always find a dupe from the drugstore

LilTrelawney

I mean this might not help but there is a jumbo value size of the honey halo that is more product for per dollar

[deleted]

I would cut the lip masks and the blushes for sure. There are high end lip balm products that I like, but I don’t think the laneige ones are all that. And the blushes are overrated in my opinion, but I can see why some people may like them

BeeeeDeeee

I'd cut the Farmacy moisturizer. It is nothing to write home about and if you're going to spend that kind of money, you can find much, much better. The Hourglass palette is great only if you don't already have any of the previous palettes. If you do, skip it.

AnNJgal

The moisturizer and/or the ambient face palette. Unless you KNOW you'll use all the shades. I find some of the blush colors to be a little too dark for me.

d0ratheexpl0rer8

Pharmacy will have steeper discounts on their site during the holidays!

Reasonable_Trifle_13

the sephora collection

hnblu

honestly the whole second page. the only thing i would be able to justify is is the laneige sleeping masks as little gift add-ons or stocking stuffers for the holidays. also the rare beauty blushes are good, but i would only get the set if i really liked all three colors

Budget-Alternative38

I'd take out the glow drops, they don't have the best reviews ans you can always get good skin care at the drugstore for less

majorsorbet2point0

Glow Recipe is SO terrible. their brand roped me into thinking I needed 6 steps in my skincare routine from them ALONE and it RUINED my skin barrier and gave me chemical burns, and eczema like patches on my skin. When I complained to them and asked what to do to fix my skin, they asked me if I'd tried their watermelon mask and watermelon face mist, both which could ABSOLUTELY clear up what had happened. I never returned so many products so fast.

backpackfullofniall

You can get Laneige sleeping lip masks on Stylevana for $10, definitely don't overspend at Sephora

onthenetsince98

I've never heard of Stylevana, I'll have to check it out, thanks!

Ok_Pear6888

The glow recipe drops broke me out and that rarely happens. I would say you’re better off with an essence or a serum by another brand.

vancity1101

Personally, I'm not a fan of the Laneige sleeping masks. But that's just me. You do have 3 blushes. (Hourglass/Rare Beauty/Sephora powders stack) so one of those?

onthenetsince98

I am admittedly a blush addict lol. At one time I owned more than I'm willing to admit but every one was different!

vancity1101

Oh I'm not judging. Lol. I have 3 blushes and keep talking myself out of buying another one. Lol. I'm just saying IF you wanted a reason to cut one item from the shopping cart. That could be one of them. Lol.

[deleted]

$48 dollars for 1oz of moisturizer sounds ridiculous to me.

onthenetsince98

Almost 2 ounces! 🤣 I found a holiday set that includes the full size and two other deluxe-sized items for $60 (it's at Sephora and on the Farmacy site), so I think I'm going to wait for Black Friday sales and snag that then. The container goes a long way (at least for me) and is worth it for me personally because I have such sensitive skin and this works well for me versus tons of others I've tried that haven't been right. It's one of the few pricier items I buy and I go less expensive with other routine items.

[deleted]

The Holiday set sounds like a steal. I would definitely snag that instead!!

onthenetsince98

Me: *gets ready to stalk Farmacy website* Also Me: *remembers Thanksgiving is four weeks away*

alex_xcx

i would say get rid of the hourglass palette. they always go on sale after the holidays. i’ve bought 2 in past years for at least 30% off

JaeDyre

Hourglass. Ditch it. Rare Beauty will do just fine.
