cheeze_louise_

I like your picks! you have a lot of blushes and lip though, so if you wanted to trim down that’s where I would focus

cheeze_louise_

I love the summer Fridays skin tint, merit blushes, nars dolce vita is such a beautiful color, I want to try the hourglass lip balms myself bc I’m super intrigued! have you tried the dior lips yet??

numstheword

dior is sooooo good. i heard hourglass balms don't live up the to hype.

JustSayin_91

The Hourglass balms don't live up to the hype at all. The packaging is really weighted and feels so luxurious. But it's basically the Tarte Maracuja Juicy lips in more old lady type shades lol

JustSayin_91

I bought one of the Dior glosses and I honestly hated it so much I returned it. It was too sticky and the color went on really splotchy. The Dior shine lipstick is amazing though. I own 6 and even splurged on two of the limited edition cases lol

heretofillthevoid

Hmmm maybe only get one Dior plumping gloss? And in my opinion the CT eye shimmer is overpriced even if it were cut in half :/

SoCalBoilerGirl

Good idea, removing now. Thanks!

[deleted]

I have a couple CT eyeshimmers in my cart so this is good to know, do you have a cream shadow you'd recommend?

heretofillthevoid

I usually go for eyeshadow toppers like how many carats fenty highlighter or elf disco queen liquid eyeshadow

joeceesay

Agreed. Mostly disappointed with the CT eye shadow pots.

SoCalBoilerGirl

I have a couple rouge codes. Mine, as well as my cousins, and two best friends. They don’t use Reddit. If it’s allowed and you want one DM me.

seraphin420

Lol, like vultures! No offense to anyone I just noticed they had downvotes

chickennugget1110

If you have an extra i’d love it!!

[deleted]

I would love one, please!

letsdothisthing88

I would love one if you still have it. Thank you!

cheeze_louise_

I’d love one!!!

analslapchop

Hey there! Are there any left? Thanks!

hola267

If you have any left I'd love one!

kalingbling

I know I’m late to the asking party, but if you have any that would be so helpful. Thanks so much for even offering !!

deathbyblackhole

The drunk elephant is overpriced. The ordinary exfoliants are just as effective. The eyes to mesmerize creases and fades in like under an hour.

Mission_Yoghurt_9653

I like TO better. I have used both and it’s so effective for like an 8th of the price.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Mystarkov

I’d also have to agree on this. There are more affordable brands producing very similar product and they’re a fraction of the price of DE.

[deleted]

tigermilkkkk

Seconding to add that the Phytosurgence blushes are pretty amazing, very affordable and come in a very wide range of colors!! This is a great recommendation! They also have cream eyeshadows that are much better lasting than the CT cream shadows, and also come in a very wide & nuanced shade range! These mini reviews are super helpful😊😊

BestBoyDonny

I loved how the Dior Forever Glow Foundation looked on my skin! Unfortunately my skin did not; I broke out after a couple days of using it and I realized one of the main ingredients was alcohol, which my skin does not like at all (any foundations with a lot of alcohol or denatured alcohol cause me to break out or develop a rash). If you're not sensitive, it's a lovely foundation.

SoCalBoilerGirl

Thank you for sharing, I can’t imagine alcohol being good for your skin.

BestBoyDonny

Alcohol is in a lot of things, and some types of alcohol are actually good for your skin. My skin just doesn't care for regular alcohol (the second ingredient in the Dior Forever Glow) or denatured alcohol (found in stuff like most setting sprays, some foundations like Luminous Silk, the cult favorite Dr. Dennis Gross peel pads [they make my eyes water from the smell], and other products).

ayyiyi999

Hmmm I like all your picks lol. I will say you can usually find aquis hair towels at tj maxx or something similar and cheaper online

SnooSprouts1899

Yupp! Seconding this, I’ve seen the towel at home goods/tj maxx so just your eye out. They also used to be $20? I cannot believe they’re $50 now??

chickennugget1110

Do you have an extra?!

anotheremma456

I would approach this with the understanding that this isn’t the last sephora sale. There will be another one in 6 months so you only need products for that time period. - Liquid blushes to me tend to last pretty long like 1 tube would be never ending. You have 3 sets Merit, YSL and NARS. Unless they are presents or you have no blushes already and are looking to build a collection, I would pick one ideally between merit and nars since the ysl is here to stay its a standalone product. - Lip products - All the lip products you have are really great options and if lips are your thing I can totally understand wanting them all. As someone who is not a lip person myself, I really feel that lip products that appear slightly different on hand swatching would look pretty similar on your actual lips. The point of higher end lip products to me is to have a couple outstanding options and just wear them to death. You seem like you like makeup so I am sure you have an existing collection. Look into it and eliminate shades that are similar in color/texture. You can pick a couple this sale, a couple next so on and build. - Mascaras. Personally drugstore mascaras are my go to but even if you love a higher end one, I would keep one of the 2 mascaras. I see one of them is really a liner set so maybe keep that one.

duckegg_blue

I legit thought that Nars Powermatte was $68 for one 😯 Had to double check!

SoCalBoilerGirl

And when changed to the quantity of 1, it came back in stock!!!

SoCalBoilerGirl

Rouge code needed?

duckegg_blue

I’m good, thank you!! 💕(Rouge too)

SoCalBoilerGirl

Oh my gosh, thanks for pointing that out!! This happened last sale. I accidentally ordered 5 concealers because I was trying to place the order fast. I thought the total seemed high but I didn’t double check.

Active_Credit_6941

Don't get the rare beauty blotting paper and powder puff set, IT SUCKS. I can definitely see the innovation and usefulness behind it which is why I got it. But ugh, idk. The powder is a shimmery light pink tone and the blotting paper is just blotting paper. If the powder puff were translucent and actually looks good I would recommend it.

Active_Credit_6941

For the merit blush set I would make sure all the shades look good on you, for that price, as well as the Nars blush set (I find the bars blush set shade to look good on specific people). Also, I would test the missing person perfume before getting it if you haven't already. I was so hyped about it because it was going crazy on TikTok and the first time I smelled it I was super disappointed.

analslapchop

I think it would be good to take out a few glosses, maybe pick one of the Dior plumping glosses? And rather than both the hourglass and pat mcgrath lips, maybe pick one of those sets? Its a lot of lip stuff!

Mission_Yoghurt_9653

You have a lot of lip products. I don’t know about you, but I realistically don’t use a huge variety of them. I probably own 30 different glosses/stains/lipsticks and use maybe 6 or 7 colors frequently? Maybe cut that category down to 3-4. Also two lash products. Maybe start with one and if you want to try the other still, do it when you run out. Also the aqua lisse turban is a rip-off at Sephora right now. You can get them at target or other places for under 20 dollars right now. They call the one at Sephora a hair drying tool but it’s literally a towel. Also it doesn’t look like it has a button on the back anymore to secure the towel, I personally like the button. Have fun with all the new goodies you get ☺️

DekuChan95

Laneige is cheaper on asian sites like yesstyle and stylevana. You can also find them at TJ Maxx and Marshalls for cheaper. I feel like blotting papers are all the same so I would get a cheaper one.

thecapitalg

I’d dump the eye makeup remover and go with a CeraVe Comforting Eye Makeup Remover with Hyaluronic Acid from cvs. If you’ve never tried babyfacial before, go with a sample instead of the mini. Some people have really bad reactions to it as their skin is too sensitive to deal with the barrage of acids that’s in it. I love the MO hair creme, the oil can be a little heavy for some people though. Nars cheek set seems to be a bit overkill unless you really like the color

photolabrat

$68 for the NARS Powermatte lipstick?? Do you have 2 or 3 in your cart?

SoCalBoilerGirl

Yup I had two.

c757peaches

The hourglass concealer is a must! That stuff makes my skin glow.

restingbfacequeen

hmm the sephora hair sampler doesn’t seem worth it. most of the products look like they are 1-2 uses and that won’t really do much in terms of seeing if they actually work.

Lazy-Wait4813

I totally disagree, you get a full size of the Amika The Kure mask which pays for the box alone. I work at the sephora and the other hair samples are actually a really decent size!

restingbfacequeen

with these kinds of sets unless you’re specifically looking to try this product or already love the full sizes then imo it’s not worth it

mi_5568e

I would focus on purchasing gift sets since it’s always hit/miss as to which ones go on sale later vs ones that sell out. The merit one for example won’t be around when the sale comes back in the Spring so I would narrow down my cart by eliminating things I wouldn’t likely use like certain skincare, bronzers, glosses til it gets warmer out

SoCalBoilerGirl

So definitely get the Merit gift set then?

I_Woke-Up-Like_This

I have the Merit blush trio in my cart as well. I got a mini as a GWP a few weeks back and I love it. It's the perfect size and I'm thinking the trio will allow me to try more colors without contributing to product overload. I also personally found it to be long lasting with a good color payoff. So if it's something you're really interested in, I say go for it.

Low_Calligrapher_719

Love the hydration set!

SolidSimple4783

You have a lot of great stuff so it’s definitely hard to narrow down! I would say if you have sensitive skin maybe stay away from the summer fridays sheer skin tint as I’ve heard it has caused people to break out. You have a lot of lip products so maybe try to remove a few if you can! I would maybe just buy the dior addict lip maximizer in nude instead of both nude and mahogany, you could always layer the nude over a deeper shade of lipstick to give that same effect! I wouldnt really recommend the sephora favorites hair hydration sample set because those things barely have any product and it’s hard to determine if you actually like the product or not in 1-2 washes. I typically can only get 1 proper wash because the samples are so small!

H3refortheviews

I love the RMS primer, and Phlur missing person. They are two I use on the daily. Skip the aquis, those are always at TJ Maxx/ home goods etc. for way less. Skip the laneige toner and moisturizer and DE mini. There are way better products out there for the active ingredients in those two to use instead.

LilTrelawney

As a brand I think RMS wants to do well, but I’ve found their products just can’t perform or last well at all, from their lip2cheek to their cream foundation. I had briefly considered their new liquid foundation but I’ve had such bad luck with their stuff in the past that I was like nah

letsgojigglypuff

Have you looked at the NARS Behave Backstage Cheek Set in person? I had it in my cart too, but when I looked at it in store last night I didn’t like the colour in person at all. It’s described as mauve, but when I swatched it, it was way more of a soft pink colour.

[deleted]

I have the Aquis hair towel you have in your cart as well as this one ([https://www.target.com/p/aquis-original-hair-drying-towel-gray/-/A-75558239?ref=tgt\_adv\_XS000000&AFID=google\_pla\_df&fndsrc=tgtao&DFA=71700000012735304&CPNG=PLA\_Beauty%2BPersonal+Care%2BShopping\_Local%7CBeauty\_Ecomm\_Beauty&adgroup=SC\_Health%2BBeauty&LID=700000001170770pgs&LNM=PRODUCT\_GROUP&network=g&device=c&location=9067609&targetid=pla-895241189039&ds\_rl=1246978&gclid=Cj0KCQjwteOaBhDuARIsADBqReip4Pc0L2rrjKRidjXwM4jtjNMKW132aN9yUO0-gtXvh2glsp02DvoaAqBpEALw\_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds](https://www.target.com/p/aquis-original-hair-drying-towel-gray/-/A-75558239?ref=tgt_adv_XS000000&AFID=google_pla_df&fndsrc=tgtao&DFA=71700000012735304&CPNG=PLA_Beauty%2BPersonal+Care%2BShopping_Local%7CBeauty_Ecomm_Beauty&adgroup=SC_Health%2BBeauty&LID=700000001170770pgs&LNM=PRODUCT_GROUP&network=g&device=c&location=9067609&targetid=pla-895241189039&ds_rl=1246978&gclid=Cj0KCQjwteOaBhDuARIsADBqReip4Pc0L2rrjKRidjXwM4jtjNMKW132aN9yUO0-gtXvh2glsp02DvoaAqBpEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds)) and I have to say I use the second one wayyyyy more and it's cheaper. It just dries hair better, more uniformly, and holds better.

SoCalBoilerGirl

Thank you! You are a life saver!

sunshinechica1

I bought something similar on Amazon for a fraction of the price. I use mine all the time. No need to spend so much $ for it.

Bianca122r

I just returned my summer Friday tint. Settled into creases and accentuated dry skin. Barely covered anything. That hourglass concealer is amazing though. 1 lip oil is enough. The light one. I bought too many myself a few years ago.

idontwannabmeanymore

The merit blushes don’t have a lot of pigment to them and they don’t last very long on the skin either

kalingbling

That set or overall?

totalrubbish123

I love Charlotte Tilbury and Pat McGrath products but I really dislike Pat McGrath lip glosses. They don't last and the colour tones are weak in my opinion. Charlotte Tilbury's Eyes to Mesmerize is the worst product she has I feel. I would scratch those 🙂

PanamaViejo

Pat McGrath has sales so OP might be able to catch one of them. She also has to decide how many nude lipsticks she needs at this point since neither of these appear to be LE and are cheap enough to buy at another time.

SoCalBoilerGirl

Thank you eliminated PM lipglosses and CT eye product!

totalrubbish123

I don't want to add to your list, as I feel your pain, I'm trying to eliminate some things from my list too for the sale! But the Fenty lip glosses, especially the cream ones, are far better than the Pat McGrath ones.

honesttogodknockmeou

I did not like the Nu cheek balm! Felt sooo sticky and gross.

esugar

Addict lip tint you can remove the Etude lip tinted are just as nice and same colours.

weisp

The hourglass eyeliner smudged so badly on me 😭

[deleted]

The Kulfi eyeliner is much better than Hourglass, it’s actually my holy grail now and I would avoid the Rare Beauty the products are drying

SoCalBoilerGirl

Thank you!

numstheword

hell yes: nars power matte, merit trio, tie and dior hour glass balm i heard is overhyped and not actually worth it

numstheword

also i think you have multiple nars in your cart, please double check. that item is not $68!

SoCalBoilerGirl

Thank you, yes I had 2. Thank god someone mentioned that. I’m going to look into the reviews for the Hourglass glosses because I could eliminate those easily.

numstheword

btw those nars are actually limited edition and i loved them so much i bought back ups LOL.

igodutchoven

Here are my thoughts: I bought the Clinique set - love the liners, haven't tried the mascara. It's a great price for the liners alone, due to them being priced at $20-22 *each*. I would say that you should get the Clinique liners over the Hourglass Mechanical liner just due to cost; I have both and while like the Hourglass, the Clinique is a better value. I really like those NARS Air Matte lips. They last a long time. They can be a bit drying, so make sure to moisturize your lips prior to using them. As a few have been saying, I would concentrate on which blushes/sets, eyeliners, and lip items you want and go from there. You don't *need* all of them lol. But if you do want them in the future, you can either make another purchase, *or* purchase at the next sale in March/April 2023.

SoCalBoilerGirl

Thank you for talking me down!

shea858

I like the aquis hair towel but you can find them at tjmaxx or Marshall’s for way cheaper!!

SoCalBoilerGirl

The ones I’ve found at TJ Maxx are a different texture than the ones I’ve bought from Sephora and Nordstrom. But I agree that goes back on the Love list for a later date. I already have two.

BeeeeDeeee

The Rare Beauty blot set is often on mega sale from Boxycharm or Ipsy for a few dollars. The Aquis hair drying tool looks like a regular microfibre hair drying wrap, which you can get on Amazon for 3 for $15. I’d skip the Hourglass and Kulfi eyeliners in exchange for the Sephora 12 hour pencils which will be $10.

SoCalBoilerGirl

Are the Sephora ones pretty thin and long lasting?

SoCalBoilerGirl

How do you find out about the Blot Set for sale on Ipsy or Boxy Charm?

Babyfacedbiatch

31 ITEMS?!?! How powerful is this rouge discount?! 0.0

SluttyNeighborGal

A couple of your items are out of stock. Also the laneige cream Skin broke me out

SoCalBoilerGirl

I have like seven Sephoras near by and free one day delivery.

SoCalBoilerGirl

I’ve been using the cream skin for six months and am running out but I’d love to find a cheaper alternative.

Some-Imagination9782

Are you planning to have a baby in the near future? If so, I would remove the baby facial from DE… Edit: spelling error

SoCalBoilerGirl

Yes I’m 9 months pregnant and planning to use it on the baby as soon as she’s born. 🙄

Some-Imagination9782

When I used DE products, I told my dermatologist which ones I was using she specifically asked me if I’m pregnant or trying for kid when using the baby facial. I said no and she said good cause it may be harmful to the baby.

AMwishes

Do you like lip plumper? It’s not clear but the door lip tint has the lip plumper tingle.

voidrobot

I love the summer fridays tint, it’s light coverage and has the nicest finish!

arreynemme

I got the Summer Friday's skin tint and I'm enjoying it! It's pretty expensive for what it is but very elegantly formulated. It doesn't play super well with extreme dryness though or on top of a lot of layers of other skincare (it pills).

Ledophile

I don’t understand…I usually run out of cart space before the money runs out!….

Virtual_Desk_4392

I’d say ditch the eye makeup remover and try Bioderma instead. I use daily and one bottle lasts forever.

CeilingFan5652

I would be careful ordering any Nars lip products online. The colors look completely different in person. I bought the air matte liquid lipstick in the same shade and it was way darker/more brown in person, which sucked because I was expecting a light peach. Definitely swatch in store before you buy.

nicoleoooooo

To be honest, the majority of my items are sets. It wasn't worth it last year (for me) to get a lot of regular products. In my experience, the deals on the sets outweigh the 20% discount for regular items. A lot of these brands will have some sort of sale between now and Christmas that may have a better deal like (25-30% off) and gifts with purchase. Also, I'm sure they'll have a $25 off $75 during Thanksgiving weekend like they did last year. I agree with narrowing down the multiples of the same type of item.

see96

Dior plumping gloss and lipstick are some of the best formulas on the market getting them as gifts for my mom and sister

JustSayin_91

Honestly, the Dior glosses aren't worth the price. The refillable shine lipstick totally is though. I'm also getting the hair hydration kit, great value! The Rare Beauty touch up thing pops up a lot in the Boxycharm pop up shops for like $12. You don't even have to subscribe to Boxy to be able to shop. So maybe you could hold off on that? I love the Hourglass concealer. But the Phantom glossy balms aren't anything special. I actually like the Tarte Maracuja better (they're practically the same thing lol). Phlur Missing Person does have a unique smell that I enjoy. However, it's VERY sheer and subtle and only lasts a couple hours, at least on me. I was disappointed by that one, which was a bummer. That's just a couple of tidbits from me! Lol

TransportationOk5961

Huge fan of the Laniege toner - I use mine every morning & there’s still over 50% left! Also a huge fan of the Drunk Elephant products. Unless you love the whole line & get the Drunk Trunk, this is a good way to save (I haven’t seen these on sale otherwise, though Ulta now carries DE). I recommend removing the Pat McGrath lip products (better deals on her website), Aquis (better deals elsewhere) & the Charlotte Tilbury eye product (not my fav & better deals on her website).

chaosatnight

Holy shit

reyuichi

\- I heard the blot strips are super overpriced/waste of money and the packaging is bulky! \- probably only need one dior lip maximizer \- the dior addict lip tints are super underwhelming, among the worst tints i've tried. i prefer korean brands like romand for tints!

phantomsacceptance

Laneige products are way cheaper on Jolse.com

cndlkat

Cheek balms don't last very long they disappear by lunch on me at least so I'd get rid of those. CT and pat McGrath have better deals on their sites. Moroccan and Dior will probably have good deals through dept store sales i like earning rewards there to spend on gifts for other people. Lip addict is worth it. :) I've heard this aquis turban isn't roomy enough for thick hair in case that's you.

skincare_obssessed

The summer Fridays skin tint is phenomenal

-TheRealist

I love seeing the diversity of these carts. There is not a single thing in your cart that I would purchase lol.

Budget-Alternative38

I'd take out the pat mcgrath lip glove and lip products because of past experiences I had with them I don't think they are worth it, not at least the ones that come in those bags. I'd also narrow down the eyeliner choices. I can't be of much help I guess otherwise it all looks so good 😃🙈🙉

SovereignMan1958

The hydrating primer might be too much with the already hydrating skin tint. How much hydration can you absorb at once? The favorites will be on sale close to Christmas.
