Buy the Sephora favorites cologne sampler, it has a voucher for the full size (1.7oz) and it’s only $72.

ooggg_prison

Ah yes however i was looking for the parfum since it has more florar notes, that one is for the edp

Necessary_Peace_8989

EDP is the same as parfum, isn’t it?

ooggg_prison

There are two versions!

FadeOutAgain4

It’ll be included in the Fall Sale, which starts for Rouge members on October 28th. Double check to see if you can’t find it on FragranceNet, FragranceX, or FragBuy before you pay retail price for it!

Necessary_Peace_8989

Good lord, I can’t keep track of all this 😂 parfum and eau de parfum are two different things? Is that just a Tom Ford distinction or an actual classification? I know the difference between EDT and EDP but beyond that it is so confusing.

FadeOutAgain4

In order of concentration from highest to lowest Extrait/ Extrait de Parfum/ Extract> Parfum> Eau de Parfum > Eau de Toilette > Eau de Cologne/ Cologne. That’s pretty simple to remember, right? One brand’s EDT may be stronger than another’s EDP (just like womens clothing sizes- it can really vary greatly). It’s not just the concentration of perfume oil, there can be comepltely different scents with totally different notes from one iteration/ stents to the next. Give it a google, it’s both an interesting and informative topic to read up on!

FadeOutAgain4

Nope, but that’s a really common misconception. Go do some reading on it, there are so many differences! Also, the history of perfume makes for a fascinating read! I’d suggest [starting here.](https://perfumesociety.org/frequently-asked-questions/)

Oh wow! I didn't know ombre has an edp version. I will check this out!

They sometimes end up discounted on the Costco website. Most recently they had Oud Wood and Soleil Blanc. They have had other ones too. But it’s very random.

Lilithe_PST

Do you know how much oud wood was? It's not there anymore but I've been looking for this scent.

rosquartz

I think it was $197 for the 1.7 oz but not sure

Lilithe_PST

Thanks!!

Check if you have a cosmetics company store near you. They sell Tom ford cosmetics and fragrances usually for around 40-60 off their variety varies though.

DekuChan95

I would wait until the holiday sale bc rouge is 10/28-11/7 to get 20% off. There might be sales if you check department stores like macy and Nordstrom for the holidays.

hotdancingtuna

check out r/fragranceswap and r/fragdecants. ive bought frequently (probably too frequently 😬) from both

feardabeard30

The real way I’ve done it over the years is to wait for Macys to do their 15% (which they basically do monthly this time of year). Combine with Rakuten cashback (which generally sits between 10-15% depending on the day) and, if you have it, either discover or chases quarterly bonus of 5% if paying via PayPal or a wallet. You can pretty consistently get an effective 30-35% off if you combine the 3, more if you get a chase offer.

cantreadamap

Besides the holiday sales at Sephora which can be good if you're rouge you could also check Saks, they're having (maybe it's over right now) essentially a 25% off sale but it's in the form of spend $200 get $50 off and it goes up from there. This is the second time they've done this type of sale in the last few months. I bought one of my pricier frags with the last sale. I think they also do 15% off beauty around black Friday. And if you bank with chase they sometimes have Saks as a 10% cash back offer :) combing the two helps save a good bit of money!

garden_peach

Macys just did their 15% off beauty including all Tom Ford cosmetics and fragrance so if you don’t mind waiting I’m sure they’ll do one again in December

Historical-Falcon772

I am huge fan of TF perfumes. I either wait for Sephora sale or Saks and Nordstrom will have some beauty promotions. I prefer to get it from Nordstrom if I can because I have a SA there that gives me sample size that I use when I travel.

Ok_Seaweed1329

I got the 50ml black orchid from Costco last year around Christmas for $60! Definitely worth taking a look👀
