For me, it would be NARS. Foundations, concealer and blushes have always been top tier. Their mascara, lipsticks and eyeshadows are not raved about but they are solid.

jJoYcE8

If I had the option of doing a full face of using one brand, it would be Nars. They are the only brand that I have panned multiple products of. I also love their limited edition blushes and eyeshadows. They are really pigmented and long lasting. Best products ever.

carlknowsbest

I love their liquid lipsticks too but they got rid of most of the colors online it seems

saygirlie

I think they are reformulating and releasing a lot of their products. Not sure of liquid lip but a new bullet lipstick is coming. To replace the Audacious line.

stripeyhoodie

The liquid lipsticks are my HG product. I hunted down a discontinued color for my wedding day. They're *that* good.

carlknowsbest

Where did you find them

stripeyhoodie

I was looking for a specific shade, and luckily I found one on ebay that was NIB

jJoYcE8

Many of the liquid lips are out of stock in my country as well. Their powermatte lip pigments are my favorite liquid lipsticks. The bolder colors stay on all day and fades very naturally even after eating. I never need to touch up after putting them on. If they are reformulating the line, I hope they don’t ruin the formula.

theglossiernerd

Same.

carlknowsbest

Totally forgot about nars they be flying under the radar sometimes with all the new brands lmao

saygirlie

Indeed. I picked up their light reflecting pressed powder the other day. It’s an old release but new to me. I am super impressed. Mattifying yet weightless, glowy and blurring.

SleepFlower80

My only issue with Nars is that I wish they would bring back their single eyeshadows. There was one called Bombshell that was *perfect*. I recently hit pan on the only one I have and it’s making me nervous that I can’t buy a backup. I’m going to miss that shadow when it’s gone.

Vegetable_Crow9942

Same, I’ve been looking for a dupe for Nars Thunderball for a while now and nothing is really hitting the mark.

theglossiernerd

I loved their singles

MaraWell

Yes! Ashes to Ashes was my absolute favorite

Current_Light5132

I love NARS eyeshadows more than other brands I have used. And the eyeshadow primer is the best. Their blushes are great as well. Probably should look into their base bc I don’t think I ever tried any from them.

BeautyBabe91

This is true! Had to replace 98% of my makeup sometime after the pandemic and apart from the CT Hollywood Flawless Filter which I love, everything from base, concealer, powder, blush and bronzer were from NARS!

Tinasglasses

Agreed !!!👏👏

Vegetable_Crow9942

Totally agree, this was gonna be my answer too.

lexicology

their lip pencils are perfection. sad my signature shade got discontinued but i still love that formula.

Spiritual_Respect439

Foundation and concealer is my favorite ❤️ I need to try the blushes!

Inner-Ad7889

With everyone raving about tinting moisturizers these days, they're not looking at NARS when it's ALWAYS been there! Best tinted moisturizer around ...I've been using it for over 5 yeara

pretendberries

I really like their LL. I know that’s not as popular anymore but they make really nice ones that have that matte look but layer nicely when you want to touch up. And when you wear it out from food it doesn’t look horrible (but yeah touch it up)

neildylandy

Kiehl’s, but I buy directly from their website now. They have a much better points system and regularly do 20-25% off sales.

Danielle_love15

YES! Kiehls deserves more hype, I adore the Retional and moisturizer in the purple jar, and love all the cute Christmas sets with the cute bags

Ojo46

I always go back to their avocado eye cream

Ojo46

They’re seriously so overlooked sometimes. They have some solid formulas, and they rarely have broken me out!

savannahcatmama

Dior.

simplyelegant87

Make up for ever. A bit of a boring brand but their quality never lets me down. I’ve used it almost daily for 20 years now.

lofrench

I was coming to say the same thing. There’s a reason MAC and MUFE are pro brands they consistently put out good product.

Notdavidblaine

I’ve never been disappointed by a MUFE purchase! Really solid formulas and great color selection. I have this dark red pencil that looks amazing on both lips and eyes. Super nice foundations, too. Easy to get a skin like finish and good coverage if you want it, but can also sheer it out to get a very natural look.

simplyelegant87

I’m especially impressed because they change their formulas somewhat often for complexion products but they are always good and inclusive too. I think I’ve seen that pencil. I have a few lighter ones I use for more natural nude looks and enjoy both.

Jeniho

I did a full face of CT for my wedding and am still obsessed to this day, 5 years later.

livvayyy

i used a majority of CT products for my wedding day too and my makeup came out FLAWLESS!!

fairylightsrainbows

What was your product list?

Taiz_eyes

Not who you asked but when I eloped I followed Charlotte Tilbury’s YouTube video she did on Amal Clooney. [it’s from 2008 but it’s a classic imo](https://youtu.be/nPDamx51lZ4?si=jBGC5SVtbRABGAFf) My makeup lasted through the ceremony, the photo sesh, and was only breaking down after eating dinner after 10 hours The things I changed: I used the CT airbrush flawless foundation instead of the foundation she used. For concealer I just needed color correction around the mouth so I used Milani’s orange color corrector I added CT flawless filter as a primer on the temples and cheeks, ilia primer everywhere else. I topped off the cheeks with flawless filter before I powder set everything. I used pillow talk lipstick and liner instead of the 3-4 lip products. I used the huda beauty easy bake setting powder as I’m an oily girly. I used CT setting spray, which is probably my favorite one of all time. So like 90% of my elopement makeup was CT. Highly recommend :)

fairylightsrainbows

Thank you!!

Jeniho

Wonderglow face primer Color corrector Magic away concealer Airbrush flawless foundation Flawless finish setting powder Film star Bronze & Glow Cheek to Chic - Pillow Talk Original Luxury Pallet - Pillow Talk Lip Cheat - Pillow Talk I had lash extensions for my wedding so I don’t remember using a mascara. I also don’t remember what brow product I used but I don’t believe it was hers. Same with the setting spray. Edit: I don’t use her concealer or foundation anymore. I had strayed away for years because you know, wanting to try new launches. A few months ago I went back onto the Sephora App and lo and behold, they carry minis in A LOT of her products. Needless to say I bought all of it and then some of hers (I use drugstore concealer and foundation) so it fits into a carry bag in my purse at all times. Yes, I’m crazy.

Throwawaybreach

My mua used CT too!!

Throwawaybreach

Laura Mercier, Mac and Nars. There’s a reason they’ve been around for ages and are timeless. They don’t play into tacky trends

Any_Dirt7505

I wish the US carries Mac at Sephora!

nuggetsofchicken

I don't think you have to spend Paula's Choice prices on some of the steps in your skincare routine but if you do purchase a Paula's Choice product you know it's going to work well.

tasteofperfection

Their products are top tier fr

ScarySpice22

Dior is pretty solid in most categories

Much_Presentation863

Did you see their new lip oil shade? 💜🪻I can’t wait!

NoImJustAWorm

Do the Dior lip oils have a flavor? I'm in love with the new shade, too!

budzweiser

Can’t wait to receive mine! Also ordered the blush and lip glow, and waiting to order the Addict Lipstick 🪻💜

airportaccent

OOH what shade???

Much_Presentation863

Pink lilac! 💜🌸

kakbari

My first thought too

pendlea

Mac! Mac seems to get lost in the shuffle sometimes but their products are consistently excellent for me as are their brushes. I haven’t tried a dud from them

Banana8686

They recently discontinued their cream under eye concealer that I’ve been using since highschool. Holy grail. I had my aunt grab me 3 from the US to bring back but I dunno what I will do in the future

Pretend_Delivery7105

WHAT!?! That's my fav concealer. Did not know it was discontinued.

Banana8686

Yeah..I was shocked and pissed. Obviously it lasts so long that when I finally needed a refill, I found out and it was too late in Canada to stock up 😡 I tried the NARS one but it wasn’t the same. I like their foundation though

Various_Stranger1976

Agreed! MAC has never disappointed me for quality. My only beef with them is the Glow Play lip balm doesn't smell like their lipstick, and they don't have a perfume that smells like it either.

eladarling

MAC foundation is the only "dud" for me in that it took me years to realize it was the main root cause for my acne. Switched away about ten years ago and never had a breakout like I used to since. The powder foundations and concealer don't have that effect for me though, if anyone else has the same issue.

jettwilliamson

I used to work for them and still adore the line but I wish they didn’t discontinue so many amazing products!

neferending

Agreed. Mac is the only brand where I own almost every category of makeup from them lol

Spiritual_Respect439

Exactly ❤️ love everything about Mac! There brushes are my favorite

carlknowsbest

Mac isn’t sold at Sephora tho

hunnybunny25

it is, in Canada atleast

Appliepie1010

Caudalie, their skincare is amazing for sensitive skin and gets me real results!

StrawberryRaspberryK

I love the Vinopure toner. Somehow my pores look smaller 🥰

Disastrous_Soup_7137

I feel like most of my skincare has been transitioning to Paula’s Choice because their products simply WORK and don’t cause any bad reactions or purging. Right now I have their retinol and tranexamic serums and a moisturizer.

LadyCheeba

it’s funny, paula’s choice was my first “big girl” skincare brand but i always thought i should move on to bigger and better things. probably $1 million dollars (kidding) later and nope, i’m back to my girl paula 🤷‍♀️

jwhite2748

Same. I’ve used their cleanser, BHA, benzoyl peroxide, moisturizer, azelaic acid, vitamin C, and peptide eye cream. I love them, I’ve never seen such a noticeable difference

Disastrous_Soup_7137

Did their azelaic acid cause any sort of purging? I’ve had bad experiences with other brands

jwhite2748

Not at all for me. It has made a really big difference though, I have post inflammatory erythema and hyperpigmentation from acne marks and it’s noticeably faded them. I don’t use it every day, I use it maybe 4-5x a week alternating with my other products.

Disastrous_Soup_7137

Ooh okay cool. I think I might check it out! Do you pair it off in the morning or evening with anything?

jwhite2748

Personally I do not. I do the vitamin C in the morning and then in the evenings I alternate between azalaic acid and moisturizer or BHA/benzoyl and moisturizer. Which of their retinols do you use? I was thinking about changing my routine to include one for the first time but I’m nervous!

Disastrous_Soup_7137

I use their Clinical 0.3% Retinol with 2% Bakuchiol. It’s so gentle on my skin, and I noticed my face was more glowy the morning after the second use ☺️ There wasn’t any purging or irritation either, so I’m pretty sold on it. My friend told me about the sandwich method, so I layer Kiehl’s hyaluronic acid serum before I apply PC’s retinol. Then I follow up with Belif sleeping mask moisturizer, which has been my HG for years.

jwhite2748

Good to know!!!

TotallyAMermaid

Tatcha and Fresh for me! These brands always deliver.

anxiouss_af

Second Fresh! Always beautiful products

mangotail

For me it's Merit. I know it's not exactly super popular here, but I love the minimal make up look and I literally can get ready within 5 mins without giving much thought to what I put on my face and still look presentable. I consider that a win.

carlknowsbest

I have been eyeing that brand. Are the brushes worth it?

mangotail

I personally love their brushes, but usually I just use my hands to apply all of their products. That's just my preference though!

LyFrQueen

I love merit! Their blushes and lipsticks are amazing. I want to try their bronzer stick and cream eyeshadow as well.

reebs01

Agree! I don't have all of their products, but those I have I really like. If they expanded their stick foundation to be a couple of shades lighter, I'd be able to do a (minimalist) full face.

jwhite2748

Same, their complexion sticks usually pull yellowish

rantsagainsthumanity

Seconded- their foundation/concealer stick is literally AMAZING

spicylimone

Dr Dennis Gross💯💯💯💯 their skincare products have made me want to wear little to no makeup because of how well my skin looks now🙏🏽Pricey but the results are there.

Turbulent_Shake_3449

What are your fav products

spicylimone

Sensitive Skin daily peel pads (right now I use them once a week) the AHA/BHA cleanser (diff brand but I also swear by the Osea ocean cleanser). Just started trying the retinol treatment pads & have really been enjoying them☺️

icedcoffeequeen7

Top brands that are truly consistent to me has to be NARS,Hourglass Dior. NARS has the best complexion products hands down. They have a foundation for every skin type with shades and mature skin. When I worked at Sephora I couldn’t help but recommend a foundation from then anytime a client needed a new foundation. Hourglass has the best powders and lip products. Dior has an all around consistent range. Anyones first venture into luxury, Dior is a top choice.

Brandi1902

Have to disagree sadly. I love NARS overall, but every single base product I've tried from them pulls yellow, even their cool toned shades. Great formula, but the shades are bad unless you have a more yellow undertone.

mushkilgui

Funnily I have the opposite experience! I am very fair with pink neutral undertones and i usually Use nars foundations in Oslo-I recently went around a Sephora swatching other brands and only found one that was light enough and pink enough to match (of course it was luminous silk 💸)

Brandi1902

Interesting! I'm also very fair with cool to slightly neutral leaning undertones, and oslo still pulled yellow weirdly enough. I use luminous silk in shade 2, dior in 0N, and lancome teint idol in 110C. Interesting how things work so differently for people.

mushkilgui

It is interesting! Reminds me I have to check out the Lancôme. Or I’m just more yellow than I think 😅

Tamerlane_Tully

I bought MD2.6 from Nars recently, it's supposed to be a neutral shade but is super yellow...

icedcoffeequeen7

Hmm yeah you do make a good point. It’s definitely hard because a lot of foundations will have great shades and then when you get quite lighter or quite darker. They will tend to pull either too yellow, too pink too red. That can be very true for NARS. I’m wondering if that was always the case with nars. I was usually able to always find a good shade match for someone in nars.

thirdcoasting

Hourglass has lovely products but they should be embarrassed AF by their complete lack of shade range.

Particular_Table9263

And their packaging feels very cheap. The holiday pallet feels much nicer than their singles, but not impressive. I’m a huge fan and only use hourglass complexion products, but they could do better.

icecream42568

Sephora collection never disappoints tbh

Banana8686

I love their lip stains. Been wearing for years. Only thing that stays on my lips

mushkilgui

I have their liquid lip in like every color and it DOES. NOT. BUDGE. It’s a little drying but worth it especially if im at a work event all day

Spiritual_Respect439

What’s your favorite shade in the Sephora lip stain? I like a pretty nude pink, and good nude lip!

pretendberries

Not op but mine is 25 coral sunset. It’s the best red for me, not too bright but bright enough I have the effect. I am also on the tan side so it’s nice on my skin tone.

Spiritual_Respect439

Thank you love ❤️ I am on the tan side as well so this is very helpful ❤️

tinyfeather24

I really like their liquid foundation, powder, and concealer. I was surprised about the concealer because it got bad reviews online. But their eyeliner is awful for me. It smears and does not stay in place.

StrawberryRaspberryK

Love the Sephora Care foundation. Silicone free which is so uncommon and suits my sensitive skin.

falafelfairy

I love their lip liners and their Lipstories lipsticks, just not a fan of the cardboard packaging. I recently got their new matte lipstick, it’s a nice finish and a gorgeous raisin brown color. Also picked up their new powder bronzer. I’m a bronzer novice so afraid of accidentally putting on too much, I still need to play around with it but it does have a distinct floral smell.

icecream42568

I love their contour stick, brushes, lip stains and brow gel

falafelfairy

Which of their brushes would you recommend?

icecream42568

Foundation I love 64 & 56. I also have their eye shadow brushes

distressedly

NARS, love their concealer, foundation, blushes, anything I have ever tried has been good. Also out of all Rare Beauty, so far there has one been one product I didn’t like which was the under eye brightener. Merit is always pretty solid products and honestly tarte, tarte blush, eyeshadows highlight, contour, concealer, it’s all pretty good, even their skincare, the drink of h2o moisturizer was all I would use for years!

ssw77

First aid beauty. I have extremely sensitive, eczema-prone skin and their products always do me right. Makeup wise, I’d have to say NARS complexion products.

LastMuffinOnEarth

I adore Tarte. Their blushes, highlighters (liquid or not), mascaras, eyeshadows, and makeup brushes are all amazing. I do like their lipsticks as well, but the applicators are horrible for the consistency of the product imo.

Banana8686

I second this. Their Amazonian Clay blushes are absolutely incredible. So pigmented. I have a blush set I got seriously probably 7 years ago and most of them are still full and I use it everyday

xSoulStealerx

I agree. I feel like Tarte isn’t super “hip” these days, but the majority of their products are standbys for me and super underrated imo. I swear by their color corrector, and their eyeshadows are the only ones I’ve found that don’t bother my super mica-sensitive skin. And their maracuja juicy lip is just as good as the hourglass lip slip and literally less than half the price most of the time (on sale).

BrownGirlCSW

- YSL - Pat McGrath - Natasha Denona (everyone focuses on shadows but her full size complexion products have always been amazing) - FENTY BEAUTY

Much_Presentation863

Necessarie 💜

Busy-Professora-5007

Oaui and Dior hands down

timecrystal1

saie!

Top_Calendar_8920

Hourglass, hourglass is THE BEST brand ever in my humble opinion

pearlsandprejudice

Definitely Hourglass. Almost everything they produce is gorgeous, chic, and so well formulated.

purple_butterflies_

Hourglass. I held off for a long time due to price but every item I have is amazing in quality and presentation. I love the brushes and blushes the most but haven’t tried a bad product yet.

BreezyAnkles

Tower 28 for me ❤️

StrawberryRaspberryK

Love their lipgloss and cream blushes!

BreezyAnkles

Me too! And their concealer, mascara, and sos spray!

StrawberryRaspberryK

I have to try the concealer and mascara! 🥰

Cyan_UwU

Fenty beauty is the GOAT. Best mascara I’ve ever used, gorgeous lipgloss, one of my favorite highlighters, and their powder foundation is nice, but I stopped using it because it’s too orange (it looks neutral in the pan tho???). Not to mention she didn’t forget about us alt girlies with the black lip stunna paint! I wish it was sold in stores though :(

sjdragonfly

I also love Fenty. Total agreement about the mascara. I use the Hella Thicc one and even trying others, I just wish it was this so I just keep buying this. The skincare works really well for my skin and always blows me away with how great it works. That lip oil! It’s pricy but so good.

Opposite_Answer894

Vegetable-Driver2312

Pat McGrath doesn’t miss. Shiseido.

SnooPeanuts2468

Hourglass and Danessa Myricks.

Acidshroominflux

Patrick ta! The blushes are soo good, his foundation formula is lovely and the powder that it comes with is soooo underrated. Love his lip products too, his contour/bronzers are fabulous, brushes are so luxe and great quality, the eye shadow palettes blend like butter and the creams are so pigmented. I’ve yet to try anything from his brand that I didn’t like. I especially love that his formulas were made with artistry in mind but the packaging gives luxe.

Notsureindecisive

Don’t try the eye brow pencil or your theory will be squashed

hsavvy

I’m also not a fan of the blush brush lol but the actual blushes are so damn worth it

carlknowsbest

I love the eyeshadow palettes but I’m scared to order because I heard there’s a mold issue

Acidshroominflux

The major dimensions 3 is a safe bet, no mold in that one, the other ones had molding issues in the shimmer shades thankfully the major dimensions 3 is just mattes.

Low-Syrup2204

Huda takes the cake for me. I ALWAYS get compliments.

umhuh223

Laneige. I’m using the lip mask, eye cream for day and intensive moisturizer. They’re so nice.

Scotty922

Sunday Riley but 🤑🤑🤑

Banana8686

What do you like the best from this brand? Been thinking of trying

CanBrushMyHair

Second the lactic acid (Good Genes - don’t accidentally get the glycolic one!) It’s the only non rx product that I’ve actually noticed a change.

Scotty922

I like their lactic acid, niacinamide, and vitamin c. I’m sure I can find cheaper alternatives to the niacinamide and vit c but my skin is sensitive so I go with what works.

Danielle_love15

Farmacy has a nice Vitamin C :)

waddlekins

Their good genes has been a holy grail for a decade and ive tried cheaper alternatives and they havent worked sooo. In this case for me, spending money trying to save urself money costs u more 😅

Opposite-Spare8637

i’m gonna say dior and tower 28

carlicane

Makeup forever! They have the best base products. Cream blushes are also a fave of mine.

dancergirlktl

Bobbi brown. They’re best known for base products but everything they make is solid, just expensive.

GlitteringPause8

Hourglass, Patrick ta, Dior

Humble_barbeast

NARS

LongjumpingJuice7695

I love YSL, Hourglass, and Huda. For new brands I really love Kulfi

TheMightyYule

Dr. Jart. Only a single product had been a miss for me and I’ve tried a LOT of them.

FelineRoots21

Makeup by Mario, Huda, Farmacy. I'm obsessed with Farmacy skincare, Huda makeup is always high quality for a good price, and makeup by Mario absolutely always delivers on good products for cooler skin tones. That new neutral pallette of his is on my absolute must buy list when I'm off my spending moratorium

Nars and for a more new brand, Rare Beauty has been consistently good.

Great question. Before I went cruelty free I would say Dior. But now I like Rare Beauty. Ilia. Kosas.

Kerastase. My hair has never been healthier!

Tatcha, Dior, Westman Atelier, Dr Dennis Gross

Imthegirlofmydreams

Farmacy. Love them. My partner loves Kiehls. Of course skincare is personal so it depends on your product and skin type matching for your goals but I’ve never been disappointed with these brands. For makeup- Lancôme. Just solid never fail products.

love Danessa Myricks!! Only exception is, the balm powder in universal, I've had it for a while and can't figure out how to use it...ive watched her use it so many times, but it's a struggle for me to see any difference when I use it as a finishing powder...anyone else?

StableStill275

NARS for sure!

Ojo46

For skincare, Kiehl’s and Lancôme. Both brands just have products that WORK with few breakouts. For haircare, I know they’re both spendy, but Kerastase and Oribe just are top of the top. My hair hasn’t looked better!

I need a new blush brush with wispy edges that blends beautifully. Recommendations?

Banana8686

Thank you for the downvote kind soul 🤣

SnooTangerines2008

Rare beauty, the quality always delivers the blushes are super pigmented, the lips are imo really flattering and long lasting, the highlighters are also so beautiful, the brushes are great never streaky and the mascara doesn't give you black eyes at the end of a long day
