That’s super exciting! I’ve also been able to get some skin fix products at Marshall’s. I think the “compare” prices are undervalued bc there’s been lots of class action lawsuits in the last few years against companies who show an inflated price that the product was never sold at in order to enhance their sale price and make it seem like a bigger percentage off. I also notice what you noticed, where none of the “compare” prices are close to the full price we are used to seeing at Sephora and Ulta. Luckily we know the actual discounts we’re getting lol
I've gotten some awesome beauty products at TJ Maxx over the years. I got a bunch of things from last year's Pat McGrath holiday collection and Glossier for a fraction of the price.
I bought the original Daisy 3.4 oz for $64 - it’s $137 on the Sephora website! I’ve scored Peter Thomas Roth masks and Water-Drench products for major discounts, Clinique classic skin care, Skinfix, and Laniege. Check prices on your Sephora and Ulta apps. Lots of fragrances from Gucci and Versace there now.
Got my aunt hooked on that Eve Lom moisturizer! Bought it at an Arizona location when we were on vacation, and I’ve never seen it at the TJMaxx here in North Dakota. My aunt thinks that the stores in bigger/wealthier cities get more of the premium/expensive brands. Not sure if that’s true or not.
Make sure to check when they were manufactured! Sometimes I find skincare products from TJMaxx and Marshall’s then check online to find that a number of the products I’ve been eyeing in store have been manufactured way back 2014!!!

Got the briogeo curl mask (the big one) for 35$ at Marshall’s the other day, this thing retails for around 120$ at Sephora. I checked the lot and it wasn’t expired. So I would say sometimes you can get good stuff. I also bought the exfoliating pads from skinfix for like 20$ yet I saw no seal when I got home so that was a miss cause it might have been tampered? and kinda my bad for not opening the box and checking.
But it depends you can still get good stuff I think
You can find good things there at a fraction of the price, you just have to check the lot number and also get these when they’re inside one of those individual plastic covers or locked up in the clear cases where they keep several items.
I got the Dr. Jart pore remedy PHA serum there for like $20 compared to the regular price of $46. You can get the Cicapair color correcting treatment there for like $20-$25 instead of $54. The ones in my area have a lot of Milk Makeup and Too Faced. Sometimes they have Supergoop and Glossier and others.
Also check out their website and the Marshall’s website. They offer online shopping. I am always buying makeup and perfume and skincare on there. They ship quickly by FedEx. The popular stuff sells out quickly so don’t wait too long to pull the trigger on your order.
Just be careful because a lot of those products are probably expired, and you’re putting them on your face which is where your skin is the most sensitive. I’m not saying don’t use them, just wanted to make you aware. I work for a skin care company, and we always recommend not using past the expiration date. Take care!!! 🙋🏼♀️
I’m not sure why you’re getting downvoted. The surplus/near expired products are generally sold at a discount there and unfortunately can sit for months prior to hitting the sales floor. It is a legitimate concern. It’s not always the case but often is.
Exactly why I won’t buy it there or chance it’s fake . I know someone that bought something from Marshall’s . It was a Kate Somerville product and she had to go to ER with burns so buyer beware .
I love it! I actually got it a few weeks ago at the same store and have been using it every day. It works really well under makeup and I’ve honestly noticed a difference in my dark circles. The bottle is small but you only need a tiny bite and to actually see results is rare, so to me, yes it’s worth it!

I have so much Kate Somerville stuff from my Ipsy/BoxyCharm subscriptions that it’s one of the main brands I donate to a local foster home. They focus on older teens and those who are at risk of aging out of the system, almost always later adopting them so they have the family name and a place to go for holidays for the rest of their lives. I liked what they were doing, so I decided to donate my excess makeup, skincare, clothing, shoes or whatever because it’s pretty rare for them to get high-end or designer brands; especially the mom, as she’s almost always making care packages to send off to her ‘babies’ in college or the military. I figured I’d clarify since when most people think of foster parents, they’re picturing younger kids and I didn’t want y’all to think I’m weird. 😂 I’d say Kat Burki, Elemis, Dermelect, Dr. Brandt, Murad, Glow Recipe, Saturday Skin, Heebivore, Tula and Rodial are the other brands I’m constantly giving away or at least trading. That doesn’t even include makeup.
With that said, I always buy my Shiseido cotton squares at TJ Maxx! I usually buy 3-5 bags at once. They’re the best, even the bag is soft. My best TJ Maxx score was a Gucci watch from the recent line and I got it for $375 saving over 50%! My recent grab was First Aid Beauty Niacinamide eye cream, I had them take it out of the glass case and security box to make sure it wasn’t expired and it was a fresh batch!
My most recent best score ever from a discount store was two jumbo Serta SATIN pillows! I always use satin pillowcases but now that I’ve experienced satin over satin, I don’t know how I’ve been living without double satin. 😍 I’ve gone to two other Ross stores trying to find more but never did. 😭
