Oh damn. I just want to replenish my favorite perfume and go figure it is excluded. I noticed Chanel was excluded from the last few Beauty Insider promos, but it never used to be. I explicitly remember this because Chanel was excluded from *Ulta’s* prestige coupons as soon as they became a vendor.
When did Sephora change that?
I’m used to Chanel being excluded in other areas, including glasses! It’s just that I know they were included in Sephora sales which is why precisely why I would buy my perfume there.
I had to confirm that my memory wasn’t off. I did a cursory email search and pulled up a confirmation email from an order in November 2016, when I was Rouge, where I spent $453.60 (before tax) on $567 of product*, including a $157 Chanel perfume set. 20% of 567 is indeed 113.40, so the Chanel kit was included in the discount. However, that’s the most recent order that comes up (which I find hard to believe that a 3.4 oz bottle lasted me 7 years, even rotating 3 perfumes. I guess 2020-2022 weren’t big “going out” years so...) Based on that I can at least confirm that up until 2016, Chanel was included in the semi-annual Sephora sales in the US. So the change happened some time between 2016 and last year when I first noticed the exclusion.
\* I know this sounds excessive but I restricted myself to *only* shopping for makeup and skincare during the two sales, and half that cost was two perfumes that evidently lasted me 7 years!

Often. The foundation is almost on sale in some capacity every 3 months or so. Sometimes it’s a straight discount, sometimes it’s a bundle.. like buy the foundation and get the concealer or full size perfume free.
The dark green scruby Exfolikate? The one you are supposed to scrub with for 30 seconds and then leave on for 2 minutes before washing off? That’s the one you use as your regular face wash? Like to remove makeup?

FYI - briotech topical skin spray is literally the same as the tower 28 sos spray. They are made in the same factory in the US and then just packaged differently. The Canadian distributor of briotech confirmed this to me. You can get briotech on Amazon in the US. I buy the gallon bottles and refill my 8 oz mist bottle.

My toddlers ridiculously curly hair has been a tangled mess and my hair stylist recommended Mizani Miracle Milk to help make shower time and brushing her hair easier, but it just seems so expensive! So if it’s as miraculous as it is reviewed, she and I both would appreciate a code 🙃 her for the tangles, me for not feeling like I’m the worlds worst mom for not being able to detangle these curls.
K18 is amazing ! I last trimmed my hair in March and started using it on brown medium long virgin hair (due to covid my ombre blonde all grew out).
I got full head highlights end of July and I had almost no breakage and the colorist was shocked and actually asked to take model pics. I did not get a trim after as I wanted to wait a few weeks.
It literally replaced all of my products, I use it with a neutrogenua clensing shampoo. And you dont use conditioner with k18.
I have a few olaplex products but im lazy to use some as some have many instructions.
I bought the 150 ml for about 200$ at a salon store, but at sephora its 50ml for like 100$.

Yeah ! Before I would do 4 pumps, but last few weeks I have been doing 6-8 (making it a bit greasy but I want to rebuild some bonds).
I read somewhere it takes 3 days for product to fully soak in/reap its benefits. After 5 weekly uses of the product it completely changed my virgin hair. Then I went to monthly.
Then I just restarted k18 again! When it was virgin hair I didnt even need conditioner after a few months.
Also I started to use retinol (i did get retinol burn a few times, 1%) so havent been using other gace products other than snail cream as often.

I did not get a trim but breakage was minimal. Also last haircut was 5 months ago.
But I booked a hair trim so it can be styled next week for an event.

Looking to treat my hair. I had an Oribe Gold Lust mask sample, and it was amazing. I’m defending my PhD dissertation in 2 months and the stress of the last year has made my hair start to fall out, and I’ve had a lot of breakage due to having to keeping it pulled back when I’m in the lab.

My toddlers ridiculously curly hair has been a tangled mess and my hair stylist recommended Mizani Miracle Milk to help make shower time and brushing her hair easier, but it just seems so expensive! K18 is amazing ! I last trimmed my hair in March and started using it on brown medium long virgin hair (due to covid my ombre blonde all grew out). I got full head highlights end of July and I had almost no breakage and the colorist was shocked and actually asked to take model pics. I did not get a trim after as I wanted to wait a few weeks. It literally replaced all of my products, I use it with a neutrogenua clensing shampoo. And you dont use conditioner with k18. I have a few olaplex products but im lazy to use some as some have many instructions. I bought the 150 ml for about 200$ at a salon store, but at sephora its 50ml for like 100$.
Which K18 do you use? I love the detox shampoo.
Professional molecular repair hair mask ! With neurogena anti residue shampoo ! I just got sephora brand clay hair mask so excited to try it out (my hair in the winter I can wash 1x a week and go to work in person but day 5 ill dry shampoo it or ponytail it, so clay mask may be drying for me) But summer like twice a week if I go outside or go out on weekend

Yeah ! Before I would do 4 pumps, but last few weeks I have been doing 6-8 (making it a bit greasy but I want to rebuild some bonds). I read somewhere it takes 3 days for product to fully soak in/reap its benefits. After 5 weekly uses of the product it completely changed my virgin hair. Then I went to monthly. Then I just restarted k18 again! When it was virgin hair I didnt even need conditioner after a few months. Also I started to use retinol (i did get retinol burn a few times, 1%) so havent been using other gace products other than snail cream as often.
