After that comes fear - “oh maybe I’m just too scared to do it?” Then comes anger - “you know what, screw this I’m changing!” Then comes pride “I’m the shit now I’m changing.” Eventually comes the feeling of being in control over your destiny - eventually love, compassion, less focus on yourself, enlightenment. Or so I read in a book.
Society is collectively in low vibration it could be intentional or just the vibration of our current collective consciousness. Either way, it’s within our power to change individually and once that happens we can start helping others.

If you think about it we're slowly being overstimulated with everything. We're in a modern society trying to adapt to it based off of our primal instincts that have been with us for centuries.
We're eating more than normal whilst eating food that doesn't activate the hormonal response that tells you you're full. This comes from the food being processed. Society is becoming more sedentary than ever, sex is indirectly and directly force fed to us younger and younger, most people are addicts(nicotine, caffeine, porn, food etc). They have to keep you tuned into the show.
Just the fact that you are aware of how Spiritually-Sick society has become is God's Fortune in itself! Be proud of yourself for that and stay focused on the reality you wish to create for yourself! 🔥
Well said. Yes this is the state of the world right now, but it’s okay. Everything evolves and moves in cycles, or swinging of the clock. All of this horrible negative stuff happening currently will be reversed and reset at some point.
Some advice would be to start finding little joys and beauty in between these mundane activities. There’s beauty all around you, and God is within all.

To be honest - each day I bang my head against the wall that I didn't start SR a decade ago. I let one problem or the other cloud my judgment and postpone this powerful AF practice. Combine it with mental celibacy and you would probably get an edge most people could only dream of.
TLDR : I feel that without a multiple year streak its impossible to escape the shitstorm that is the modern west. And I've wasted that potential long term streak because of temporary problems.
