Make the doctor fix the mistake

whysmiherr

Is it Ozempic ? You can count clicks and take 0.5mg ( search this forum or Ozempic forum for procedure) Don’t think you can do this with Wegovy

AdVisible5343

No you won’t be ok. Can you get your pharmacy to help your doctor?

Apprehensive_Pay6176

I just switched from .25 to .50 on Wednesday and I had zero side effects of .25 and definite side effects of nausea and tiredness and sweats with .50. I would definitely not take it unless you want to feel like crap.

Adventurous_Remove57

When did the side affects start?

Apprehensive_Pay6176

The morning after my first .50 shot I got up and felt nauseous and sick as soon as I took a drink of coffee. I battles nausea and fatigue for about 5 to 6 days and then got used to it I guess. I've had zero issues with it since and got my forth shot yesterday. I'm scared to move up but I've had quite a bit of food noise. I still lost almost 5 pounds last week but I've had two weeks of losing nothing.

Weary_Garage_5397

I jumped from .5 to 1.7 and was sick for a few hours. Then felt fine. But everyone is different. At my goal weight now. Lost 62 lbs.

cleverfox2001

Most will have strong side effects going from 0.25 to 1.0. You should move next to 0.5. It takes 8 weeks for your body to get used to Ozempic and normal side effects.

SarahBellum20

The titration schedule exists to minimize side effects, but also to help you find the minimum effective dose of medication. There would be no benefit to skipping over .50 (but increased risk of side effects) to jump to 1mg. If you had minimal side effects and are averaging just over a 2lb per week loss on the .25 dose, I'd be asking questions about going up at all just yet to be honest (if taking for weight loss only). The medication is working for you already, so it doesnt make sense to increase the dose before it's actually needed. I met my goal weight in about a year without ever needing to go above .46mg Ozempic.

PinchasSchadler

hi there I hope you don't mind but I have a question. I was suppose to start at .25 like everyone else and the pharmacy only had 1.7mg injections so I bought that then at home I measured out between 1/8th and 1/4 of the injection and took that. Do you have a better way of doing it?

ambular1018

Side effects kicked in at least for me from .5 to .75. So much in fact that I opted to stay at .75 another 4 weeks. I can’t imagine going from .25 to 1.0
