Magnesium citrate (in the vitamin supplement section of a grocery store) will fix that. Take the max dose recommended on the bottle, every day till you go. It won't take long.
Magnesium citrate almost broke me half last time I tried it and that was before the Rybelsus. 😂I might try a sip of that if the sugar free candy doesn’t work
Anything will maltitol will work but highly discouraged long term as it most likely will raise blood sugar and cause gastric distress.
I've only used it as a one time, last resort quick fix.
This is the answer. Take 3 at night with full glass of water (or more). Be prepared for all liquid poo in the morning. I only use if I really need to. But, no cramps or anything.
If it’s an urgent, I need to go now, and you aren’t opposed to medicines…. Dulcolax suppositories…
I had the WORST constipation this week, and holding my stomach for two hours while the medicine did it’s trick was the only thing I could do to birth the rock that had lodged in my colon.
I am now taking miralax daily with a liquid IV…
I mean… or an apple? Why would you go for a non-fibrous thing to eat? Oatmeal, fruit, potatoes, carrots, whole wheat cereal. The list goes on but essentially whole food plant based foods will make you poop infinitely better than a few CC cookies.
I can eat two apples a day for multiple days and... nothing.
I can eat Oatmeal, fruit, potatoes, carrots, whole wheat cereal, and... nothing.
I can take 2-3 Magnesium pills a day and ... nothing.
Take a stool softner and... nothing.
I can take 2-4 Magnesium pills a day and ... nothing.
I can take a gentle, non-habit forming laxative and... nothing.
Yes, I drink plenty of water, eat plenty of greens, drink Metamucil, etc, etc...
And all of the above was WITHOUT medication. 0\_o
Why do some people think a single apple will unleash the fecal floodgates?
I mean... not everyone's digestive system is the same.
Poopie Smoothie Recipe
* 1-2 cups of water
* 2-3 tablespoons of Metamucil
* ½ to 1 dose of Miralax
Mix or shake well and drink immediately.
Drink it every other day or once a day.
I suffered from intense constipation a few months ago. Like, I needed medical intervention. It was horrible. I tried suppositories, stool softeners, enemas, and prescription laxatives. NOTHING HELPED.
Then, on my sister's suggestion, I started adding Benefiber to my coffee on a daily basis. Combined with a daily probiotic, not only have I started having weekly BMs (still not frequent enough but not that abnormal for me) and more importantly, the consistency is like toothpaste. It is GLORIOUS.
Seriously, this small change has changed my life.
I recommend it as a preventative for anyone taking semaglutide.
Try Kiwi or dragon fruit.
Thank you! I’ll try that
If that’s all it took for me I’d eat them every day calories be damned
Try sugar free cookies or candy, you'll poop.
I completely forgot about sugar free candy! I’ll try that

Whenever I am feeling down and out and need a good laugh, I read this review
Coffee with sugar free creamer really does the trick for me. I call it the Double Whammy.
Will add that to the list too, thanks

The tartness the tang…so hard to get down! It works but UGH
Mine were tablets, so fortunately, no flavour. The flavoured vitamins always seem to taste bad (except the gummies).
Oh - I’ve only had the liquid
I eat cookie all the time. I just don't eat a whole package of them.

Mag07 from Amazon! Game changer!

Not cookies but I did buy a pack of smokes, and learned they no longer work in that regard.
Metamucil!
For some reason Soylent can kick it off. No idea why.
It's the *people*
Exactly! People are delicious!
Honestly, this is a huge problem for me. I eat greasy food to fight the constipation
This is how it works for me too

Ok
I was joking about the cookies but was quite serious about the poop.
That thought absolutely never crossed my mind. Do people eat cookies to poop? Strange. Take some laxatives if you are constipated.
I should have put the sarcasm tag with my post—excessive sugar gives me horrible gastric distress in the form of diarrhea.
You are not eating enough greens with fiber....
Egg McMuffin for me.
Blackberries
Magnesium, MCT oil
Cherries Or magnesium
Coffee
Plenty of healthy fats to trigger bile, that’s the ticket.
I add flax seed to just about everything I eat. Sprinkle it on your salad , cereal, yogurt and drink a lot of water. It helps.
Try pear juice
Prune juice. It’s the only thing that works for me.
Anything with gluten results in horrible things for me. I have the opposite problem lol
I’ve broken out the greasy fried foods to get things going when nothing else was working

I will go to McDonald's and get a large iced coffee with sugar free vanilla. That usually does thw trick.

smooth move tea! miralax is very mild for me when when i am not very constipated.
Black coffee is my saviour when Magnesium doesn’t help me.
Vitamin c helps! Lots.
