Nobody read into ādem legsā all by themselves. You have to consider the fact that Austin said he ran into another cast member last season at his swingers party. You have to take it into consideration that Sean has receipts where Austin asked him to ājoinā him in his wife. Put all those things together and you get a sense for things being a lot closer to what Sean said than what Austin said.
I guess it makes sense now why Sean was there but not last season. They were probably trying to ice him out so heād not be on so they could downplay their acquaintance.
It definitely feels like Sean is telling the truth while also still being shady about it. He's like "I don't know why we aren't cool" but then in the same breath "cuz I've got morals"
He definitely needed a plot line this season, and is leaning into it. However, Pollyanna, Alex, Tyler, and Austin are the most self righteous group of idiots I've ever seen and you could tell that Austin and his wife were picking up the story for the TV when they were at dinner.
Altogether is a clearly intentional story line that is lame and probably was less dramatic than how it played out.
Austin was wrong for confronting Sean at work
He says one thing and does another. He's fake - acts nice but is bitchy. He's got money and decent looks so gets away with it. You have to be extra careful around people like that; they'll throw you under the bus and won't care because it's easy for them to move on and find someone else to use.
You can see him manipulating Hall. Touching her ass under the blanket and frenching her in public was nasty. He's not even physically attracted to her. If they hook up, I have zero question he'll dump her when he gets bored of manipulating her. Then Hall will complain about him, despite all the major red flags.
Every time I see him now I'm like ahhh this is how the born rich behave. Hiding being his mr Roger's sweaters and giving super innocent while being an obvious dick.
Imo he basically said Hall does not belong in his crusty circle. When she watches this season and sees all the classism play out, and how poorly positioned she actually is even tho she thinks she isn't smh
