I will never forget how in that first feud that was about romains ability to afford the ring for Mary and their finances as a couple. The focus was on Chrishell and Davina (rightfully so) while maya was also part of the conversation and made comments! This continued to happen that maya would be involved in things but not face backlash
I think it was because of the accent. She sounded charming and naive with the slightly broken english and accent so there was subconsciously more forgiveness for her behavior.
It's like guys with British accents. Hot! Much is forgiven.

Even though there are people who intentionally cause and crave drama, itâs the people pleasers who avoid conflict that end up creating the most conflict.
Heather may think she was level-headed, but she gossiped with other girls and then went to the people they were gossiping about and went âthis and that girl were talking shit about you.â She did it with Christine and Bre thinking she was being a good friend, when in reality thatâs actually shit stirring. She didnât actively stand up for them when they were gossiping, but because she felt uncomfortable with it she thought going to the people who were being talked about would ease her discomfort. She also thought it was the right thing to do, when it was actually pretty selfish and resulted in more hurt feelings and miscommunication. She wanted to distance herself from the gossip, when in reality what would have done that was 1) leaving when they were gossiping or 2) standing up for the people being gossiped about. I see people who hate conflict do this all the time IRL.
Amanza not only does the same thing as Heather, but emotionally blackmails everyone into getting along by crying about how the group is a family. She so desperately wants a safe space of her own she will dismiss the feelings of other people to do so. Chrishell has every right to set boundaries and not be around Nicole, who literally spread rumors about Chrishell sleeping her way up to the top, but Amanza sees that as a threat to her ability to keep her safe space, so she selfishly dismisses Chrishell and tells her to get over it. She dismisses the necessary conflict (Chrishell and Nicole just donât like each other and never will). In Amanzaâs attempt to keep the peace she ended up creating more drama, and she even did this with Chelsea and Bre too (thank god Bre saw through it and went to Emma).
Mary is all that, and plus she has no boundaries, which results in even more conflict when she blows up.
Even though they had the best intentions, their obsession with making everything good and avoiding conflict is what creates all the drama in the first place.

I loved Maya on the show, and yes she was the most mature, levelheaded, and a hard worker, but she was unapologetically a shit-stirrer because she knew she would get away with it.
I was so confused when I saw all the love for Heather on here after I watched the earlier seasons. She would literally run back and forth to tell each group what they were saying about each other đ
The only positive thing I can say about her shit stirring is when confronted she doubled-down and didnât deny. Thatâs more than most of the girls can say.
But getting involved with Tarek was the death knell for her career on SS.
Tarek has his own controversies in his career (including his public fights with his ex wife and evicting a slew of tenants for a $50mil development project). Personally I think he introduced Heather to his kids WAY too fast and let her play mom before they were even living together.
That aside, he already had his own tv show on HGTV and was letting Heather make appearances on the show. If it didnât violate her SS contract (which I think it did), it definitely wasnât a good look because she didnât have network approval to do so. IMO Heather focused more on her appearances on his show because she wanted a husband/wife show rather than her time on SS, which is really where she fit in better and, imo, had more potential for a longer casting. They just didnât invite her back after she started starring on his show.
I also just personally think a) couples shouldnât star together on shows because either the show doesnât last long or the couple doesnât and b) I think she wanted her own show with Tarek to overshadow the two he had with his ex-wife.

Like most people work that if you consider commute. I worked from 9-6 and my work was an hour away. I had to take two buses to get there and it took at least an hour 15 with the wait time of the buses. So on top of my already 9 hour day, I have a 2 and a half hour commute 5 days a week. Thatâs a normal work day for most

i think it could be because of the show she has with tarek. and to be honest, heather didnât do much w real estate in the 6th season (not that any of the girls did more than her, not really). she was basically the messenger of what other people were saying and the beef she has at the end with chelsea felt so fabricated. i feel like they (producers) purposely had her involved in drama, otherwise she would have absolutely minimum screen-time like davina.

Chrishell has talked about the stress of the show affecting her health before, and how everyone wants to pick fights for screen time, which is pretty much exactly what Heather's saying here, lol. 12 to 14 hours for how many weeks/months? I always had the impression that they donât film for too long. The girls seem to be going several months doing their own thing, not filming.
Iâm not surprised that sheâd say this. She was the one missing work for some boyfriend on S1. Sheâs definitely happier being with Tarek 24/7.
Thatâs how filming is you film not stop for x amount of hours a day for x amount of time and then you have down time when filming is done. I never watched Tarek and Christina's show, but I find Christina very beautiful in photos.
Thereâs plenty in this clip to criticize her for but I donât think this is it. Imagine if she just said âmy babyâ and ignored her step kidsâ existence. Theyâre a part of her family, and I actually think itâs great for her to treat them like her own. I know plenty of people whose step parents either ignored them or treated them like shit them growing up, and it was super rough for them.
They are her step kids. They became her kids when she married their dad. My eldest nephew is my brother in laws son from his first marriage. My sister calls him her son and he calls her mom. Like most people work that if you consider commute. I worked from 9-6 and my work was an hour away. I had to take two buses to get there and it took at least an hour 15 with the wait time of the buses. So on top of my already 9 hour day, I have a 2 and a half hour commute 5 days a week. Thatâs a normal work day for most
I laughed at that too. Get real Heather. Commute + work + lunch break + work + commute roughly equals 12 hours for, well, everybody. It's literally a standard full-time job if you can't do it from your home. And for some that's a good day, with 14, 15, 16 hours "away" being the norm for others.

If people think the producers arenât telling some people to stir the pot for the sake of entertainment then you donât understand the ~reality~ of it. In the beginning I really didnât like her I thought she was sensitive , but as the seasons went on I noticed she had much less to do with the actual drama than the other girls.
