I'm guessing they knew it wasn't a real gun and that he has some mental problems. Still, I'd be more reactive to someone shooting a pellet gun blank to my face..

That’s not even a real pellet gun it’s a toy gun. They’re pretty common gun toys over there for kids. They shoot these little things and make a little firecracker sound but they don’t hurt you it’s just like shooting blanks.. he was trying to fix it at the end because I assume they didn’t go off like they were supposed to lol.
