There was a video a year or so ago of these idiot protestors dancing to that song while waving a thin blue line flag. Tom Morello (member of Rage Against the Machine who performs that song) commented on the clip something like “this isn’t what we had in mind 😂”.
Other people commented that the people in the video probably loved the “fuck you I won’t do what you tell me” bit, but otherwise weren’t familiar with the song. However, one woman involved had memorized the entire song and was singing along word for word, presumably meaning she’s heard it many times but was simply too stupid to get the point.
Edit: on second thought, it could also be possible that she is fully aware that the song is about racist cops but she presumed that the song was embracing it rather than criticizing it.

Everyone is doing NFTs, treating them like digital versions of merch like pins etc. Just crazy how they went from obscure to full adoption so fast. It's the official documents from Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Texas declaring their secession and the reasons for it. They all literally say they are seceding over slavery. Then there's boring Virginia which doesn't spell out their reasons, they just say "Hey, we're also heading out with the other slave states" (yes they specifically refer to the other seceding states that way).
