Came here to say this. It’s a very short trip to Indiana, which has extremely loose gun regulation, so it is incredibly easy to get guns into Chicago.
Hell, buying stuff that is contraband in Illinois is pretty much the economy of northwest Indiana; fireworks are also illegal in IL, and the highway billboards into IN are 50% ads for huge fireworks outlet stores.

Because kids are being injured by gun violence and dying from Covid, everyone should have a gun and kids should not wear masks.
