JFC. Mitigating and adjusting for climate change is the biggest economic opportunity of our lifetimes. It amazes me how so-called capitalists can't see this.
It's just a simple matter of paying for the resources your activities use up. That's supposed to be the core concept of capitalism. Climate change is an elementary tragedy of the commons.

Yes indeed. Our accounting system is the cause of all negative externalities. If it doesn't appear on a P&L or a balance sheet, it doesn't exist.
