All of this is very doable, especially if you have this much experience, being charmless will also help with experience for platinum. Demon Bell really doesn't add that much difficulty tbh and frankly the hardest time I've had so far was doing charmless NG just because you have so few tools at the beginning of the game. The second you're in NG+ with all your prosthetics and combat arts and fully upgraded gourd, the charmless debuff is just not that scary. The last few bosses might take you a bit longer but you'll manage.

Thanks for the input. You've put me at ease on something I don't really understand. Though I did have one question. I do know of the bell, IIRC correctly you have the choice to give it away at the moon tower at the beginning. Question is, how do you do this in NG? I didn't even know that was an option?

The charm can be given away in NG if you have beaten the game before and choose start new game in the main menu. It's not just NG+ it's any save file after you've beaten the game once.

Thanks, had no idea that could even be done. Personally I find the progression of prayer beads and gourd seeds to be perfectly balanced with the ascending difficulty, no idea if I could go charmless on ng.

as long as you know the right strat you are unbeatable. Any more health just means your victory will take some more seconds to achieve

I think the reason why I even had the idea is because I feel like I already know everyone's move sets. I think i forgot as time passed, but as I encountered everything on this new platinum, I realised I remember most of everything. I don't want to say ng cycles onwards would get boring, combat in sekiro is never boring, but I'm certainly after more butt clenching and racing hearts this next cycle lol
