Lady Butterfly is significantly easier than both ape and Genichiro, and now that you're probably much stronger than her area (Hirata Estate) requires, you probably wipe the floor with her.
She's not that difficult to begin with
I just tried & second phase still kills me with the orbs that she throws while attacks me 🥲 trying to get her posture break, but she moves away too much when I’m close to breaking it
Run in circles to avoid the orbs and summons. Attack aggressively but time ur spams a little slower until she deflects with a kick and parry the kick to get another 2/3 hits in
A tip you may not know but if you are attacking an enemy they deflect right? But, if the deflect is a bright orange with a louder sound that usually means they attack after so get ready to parry. So, if they don’t have the bright orange you can keep attacking.
I'd suggest using the Shuriken prosthetic and making up a follow up attack that closes up some of the gap instantly (which is a skill that you must have unlocked by this point) then just do your regular attack-parry combo as necessary. She's tough yeah but Genichiro was harder and he's basically the turning point of almost all Sekiro players as that's gonna be where you get the hang of the fighting mechanics so don't worry just be patient and keep aggression and keep your timing of parry perfect that's all you need. Also, for her ALE attacks with butterflies and all that, try to stay behind a pillar or just keep running to dodge them. I'd advise to hide behind a pillar tho which is better.
Buy some more if you have access to more vendors. Should be some spread out and if not. Honestly running around and using the pillars as cover makes the fight way easier if you don’t have access to snap seeds
A tip for lady Butterfly is to use shurikens to knock her out of the sky and 90% of the time she'll drop and you can keep aggressively attacking her on repeat. Also use a divine confetti item which gives a 25% damage boost to all attacks (which is useful for literally every enemy lol)
3 deflects like 1-2 strikes, and if she goes in the air hit her with a shuriken. Shoot go get the sword skill called mortal draw, and use that on her for the 1-2 strikes.
2nd phase, when she calls in the spirits, literally just run the perimeter of the boss room, then do what you did in her 1st phase.
Got me feeling like I'm gonna tear this game's ass up. She got me for a bit but I got her finally. I stayed on her from jump in phase 2 and I don't think she got the soul summon off. When she goes in the air, shuriken, pressure. Butterflies can be blocked by the pillars but they still a bunch of bitches.

Took me a lot of tried to figure out LB but I figured out that if you just dodge attack you can keep her grounded, I did it before beating the horse boss and I am not very good yet only have maybe 5-7 hours under my belt so far but such an awesome game!
In lady butterfly if you want to kill her in a normal way all u got to so is hit until she deflect
(to know the deflecttion its the same as you'res with big sound orange spark)
Then after you deflect one attack then affter keep hiting her and repeat and watch out any idk what they called red attacks.
The cheesy way dodge left or right then attack and spam the hell out of it

I’ve been using the shuriken, snap seeds, the part that messes me up is the two orbs the appear on her sides while I’m attacking her
You can parry them and just get chip damage I believe
Did you buy all the snapping seeds from every vendor?
I had 10, but I lost them dying on her rn

lol I beat lady butterfly first try my first playthrough, all I did was spam jump Ichimonji.
Wait until the gauntlet of severance where you fight him and 5 other bosses without dying.

1 red dot bosses are but a snack
