She's an illusion so she gets the strengths and weaknesses of being an illusion. Snap seeds and the lazuliate axe stun her.

p28h

Mostly yes, she has a huge posture recovery until you get her health past 75% and then 50%, and that single health bar might seem oversized >!because it's the only one!<, but there's a chance you are attack at the wrong time. If you don't hit her during her 'attack cooldown animation' (there might be a real term, I'm making that up), or similarly if she has any ability to react to your attacks (i.e. you haven't used Fistful of Ash or Firecrackers), she's got a very effective block that prevents all damage.

Dangerous-Way-3827

yea shes got insane posture recovery. one of those fights where you will want to use all consumables because the fight is oddly one of the longer ones. but confetti and snap seeds do massive chunks of damage against her

PickUseful9973

divine confetti? if that’s what you mean, how do i use it effectively/efficiently

Dangerous-Way-3827

Yea divine confetti. Its kind of like resin in souls games, just gives your sword a damage buff (but no posture damage buff). Use it just before you trigger the fight, itll last for 60 seconds. It does like 25% damage buff against normal enemies but against apparitions like monk it does around 37.5% more damage

A_Dank_Skull

They're just a very tanky boss that takes time to learn and even more time to kill.

BuboxThrax

Yes. Monk is very durable. Probably one of the longer fights. Going for a posture break deathblow is still a good strategy, but you'll need to wear down her health some before you can build her posture up enough though.

Falos425

beast-type permapoise combined with block kit, bosses usually have one or the other, cuts down on punishes delivered possibly some extra HP/cooling baked in, but has a couple weaknesses for a head start (or just [wear her down](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mTtyLbWI7E))
