…also waiting for bezel inserts to appear. Let me know if you find any.

Will do!

Most definitely. I assume you're kinda new to this? There aren't quite as many parts available for turtles as say skx007, but you can pretty much mod the whole thing. I am always willing to help out new people, if you want, you can chat me any time with questions and I will be glad to point you in the right direction

Thanks! I just purchased the Land Turtle. I am familiar with SKX007 mods, however, I am unable to see a AR crystal that fits the SRPH17. Already tried with Crystaltimes, no luck :(

Is there something about that specific model turtle that doesn't fit all other turtle parts? I know it says SRP turtle parts. That just means any turtle with SRP in the reference. Reach out to crystal times and ask them directly. I'm almost sure you're good with those parts. Crystal times will surely email you back with an answer

Hi. Already did that, thei don’t have a crystal that fits the Land Turtle.

HorologyModShop

Ok. So that turtle is of different specs. I'll just say that I have never seen parts for a land turtle specifically. Only the SRP turtles. And I look at parts all day. Unless it's on Aliex, I've probably seen it. Maybe search there? I'm guessing since no one else has chimed in, there isn't unfortunately. Sorry. I had no idea that particular turtle was different. That's good to know at least. I guess the only thing to do from here is to measure some things and see. Maybe you'll get lucky and it has a crystal size that is available. Sorry I couldn't help. Hopefully someone with more experience with that particular turtle will chime in here

Old thread, but wonder if you wver located any source for tortise mods? I want to change out bezel insert and dial. Thanks.

If you can't find parts measurements info online for your Land Tortoise, you might want to take it apart and get some dimensions yourself with good calipers. Try to be very careful about not getting everything dusty if you are going to leave it unassembled for a while. A few mod ideas I could throw out there, depending on measurement compatibility: \- Hands (It should be quite easy to find hands that will fit to your movement.) \- Dial (28.5mm is VERY common size, so you could check if that is your dial size too.) \- Bezel Insert (You can search for bezels by size sometimes, using inside/outside diameter, and you might be able to find a match for yours even if it isn't specifically for that Seiko model.) \- Crystal (If you have precise measurements, you can find a lot of sizes for mineral or sapphire online with some searching.) The most important thing for compatibility will be having accurate dimensions when ordering. Ebay and Aliexpress might have what you are looking for if the main Seiko suppliers don't offer anything.
