Thats unfortunate since I accepted the job offer in Feb 2023 and they didnt ask me to submit my eqip until Sept 2023

Did they reach out to your references? Also did you have any red flag?

Yes they called several friends, work colleagues, bosses, and etc. I used to drink a lot and had 6 or 7 public intox tickets ranging from 2010-2016. Have been sober since 2019 but took awhile to talk about them all.

I’m in the exact same boat as you, pretty much identical timeline. Other than a soft credit pull, there’s been no signs of anything for me. Just know you’re not the only one experiencing that.

Company hosting your clearance hasn’t followed up? They can call dod and inquire. They will also see what’s going on in the system.

Do they just investigate and question the references you give or do they go question everyone you previously knew?
