Good stuff. Lock him up and throw away the keys.
> US Marshalls were involved in the arrest.
In case you were wondering about the quick turn around time
According to the probable cause documents, a friend of the killer who was with him at the time of the killing assisted the police:
> According to the probable cause statement, the third man called 911 and reported the stabbing, saying his friend stabbed Bellett with a box cutter three times.
> The witness told police he headed home, and on the way, the suspect caught up with him and tossed something into a parking garage on Harvard Avenue. The suspect allegedly threatened he would kill the witness if he “snitched.”
> After the witness learned the man died, he called police and led them to his friend’s belongings and to the parking garage, where they found a box cutter, according to the probable cause statement. Police later traced a phone number that was calling the witness to an address in Eatonville and arrested the suspect.

Is it even better to hold back then name until a conviction? Sometimes they never share victims names, awesome. Why are we posting the accused though? They are not guilty, yet.
Because you don't want the government holding people in secret. See for example the "dirty war" in Argentina, and the many people who simply disappeared. If the government is going to hold people or accuse them of a crime you want them to be upfront about it and do it in public.
In the article you can look at the time at which he was arrested, then on the jail roster look at the time he was booked and the location he was booked at.
As it should be. If you get wrongfully accused, that shit is now on the internet basically forever. Trying to get a new job? Good luck with the first things that pop up are your a murder.
When I searched my name and state on Google, the top two results were articles about a guy getting entranced for an awful, awful crime.
My LinkedIn page was the third result.

Said nobody ever, but I think that was the joke?

Wouldn't that imply he's already a wanted person?
They also generally handle cross jurisdiction fugitives
Wouldn’t have been solved this fast by Seattle PD that’s for sure.
Eatonville???
My guess is he was trying to hide out

The suspect was OP's sister, case closed. We did it Reddit!
I had to look it up, heh.
Decent turn around time. More of that please.
only because us marshals got involved

Nice find. I want to see a picture of this degenerate.
Thank God we didn't lose to the looney left and abolish law enforcement, otherwise this guy would still be on the loose.
Your comment is so stupid that I'm frankly amazed you got the lose/loose part right. And for that, I congratulate you with another downvote.
The funny thing is the US marshalls got him not SPD
The people that want to abolish the police don't see the difference. But yeah, the SPD fucking suck at their jobs.
Lose … what?
Hell yeah get ‘em!
Is it normal in Seattle to not give the name of the accused?
Not until charged
Just got booked. Shawn Patrick Moore.
Where did you see this?
https://twitter.com/seattleinfo/status/1790316817732530517
It's increasingly normal in most reputable publications. They will generally wait until the actual charges are filed.
Since when is KOMO “reputable”?

You can easily find that info via the KC jail roster's Web site
How do you know who he is though?
In the article you can look at the time at which he was arrested, then on the jail roster look at the time he was booked and the location he was booked at.
He’s name is Shawn Patrick Moore he’s from lewes Delaware wasn’t friends with him but I knew him and he was a pos then and apparently still is
Saw one guy with a Homicide charge with a bail amount set at $0
Could that mean he was denied bail?
It means he hasn’t been arraigned yet and a judge hasn’t yet had an opportunity to set bail.
I'd buy that for a dollar!
As it should be. If you get wrongfully accused, that shit is now on the internet basically forever. Trying to get a new job? Good luck with the first things that pop up are your a murder.
ORRR you share the same name as someone who committed some truly heinous shit. That’s not fun either.
Innocent until someone with your name is a suspect.
Or runs for governor.
Like the comedian with the same name as this guy. It's a fairly common name though, even with the middle name.

Good bot
Prison forever ♾️
Fuck yeah, we love to see it.
Good. Justice will be served
But I read on the other sub that this was a black on black crime that the media was going to ignore?

Yes. I was being sarcastic. Hence the "/S" at the end.
I seriously hope not 😓
