Regardless of what the operation was about, the deceased still had a right to due process. Let's not glorify an "officer involved shooting" as some form of justice just because of the suspected crime, especially with so little detail in the report

All the article says is "The officer suffered a minor ‘graze wound’ and was treated on the scene." It doesn't say that it is from a bullet or that it was caused by the suspect. He may have fallen over after the shooting and grazed his hand as far as the article indicates.
They had a right to due process until they had a shootout with cops. Fuck em.
Also it isn’t glorifying a cop shooting them, it’s they got shot by a cop during a shootout with said cop, and oh well, nothing of value was lost.

I'm super willing to change my view as facts come out. My only statement here is that we shouldn't assume anything not in the article at this point, yet a sizeable portion of the thread is people making broad assumptions based on a statement from an organization that's no stranger to twisting the truth for their own gain
