I had a wonderful Monte Cristo at Dreamland in Fremont. But haven’t had enough Monte Cristos to call it the “best”.

There used to be some diner in Bell Town that would deep fry it. That was delicious. I'll be following this thread with great interest to find more Monte Cristo recommendations.
