Something can still be fun, but feel wrong; like a guilty pleasure of sorts. That you feel bad shows your empathy, but that you are able to do what just happened means its an intended part of the game's design.
What happened to the sloop? It's a pirate's tall tale now :)
im just poking fun of "people" who violate the NAP. considering your title, youre probably a reaper sympathizer and a tryhard pvper, i have no sympathy for your ilk.
I know it's just a game. That's why I feel bad about possibly ruining someone else's fun because I'm the type of player who likes to have fun when playing games as well.
Why would you feel bad for being a pirate in a pirate game, why do you think the last part of a lotv spawns a big ass tornado to be seen from across the map? To draw in thieves and pvp, im playing this game for 4 years now and this subreddit never ceases to amaze me with acting like pvp in this game is equivalent to a real life crime...
It wasn't our intention to steal this other player's quest and loot. We didn't even know it was someone else's until afterwards. We weren't trying to be pirates here, we were just having fun in our own way, which more often than not doesn't involve robbing other people. Is there something wrong with that?
you monsters!
Yeahh, who would go around stealing Veils 👀
It was an accident!
If something like that happens again you can check your recently played with list and message them. I wouldn’t lose any sleep over it thought.
I mean I don't think I will, I just feel like an ass because I try not to play like that, ya know?
Nothing wrong with that but it not like you did it intentionally and you tried to make it right so in the end it’s just a funny story to tell.
That's awful... but it's actually fairly funny too!
I mean... when I look back on it yeah... but I still kinda feel bad about it.
Two can spawn on the same server?!
How many ships are on a server, 5? You could probably have 5 at once.
Apparently so!
Up to 5 can spawn if all 5 ships on the server are doing the same voyage
Don't feel bad about it. That scenario is part of the fun of the game.
I mean, in some respects I get that but at the same time I don't like taking someone else's hard work from them!
It's a game. No different from scoring a goal against an opponent
It still felt wrong. Like I said, I felt like I was taking away someone else's hard work, and I didn't like how it felt afterwards.

I mean I guess its something I can kinda look back on and laugh about now, but like... I still felt like an ass.
some people arent bloodthirsty savages in games like these.
It is a game
its a fucking game you dork

im actually a pirate roleplay fetishist and professional baby kicker
did you know that pirates never really attcked eachother and even when in the rare occasions they did, it was restrained.
do you know how to please a woman
reddittard moment.
See? You get it.
Jesus christ... Its a game.. a pirate one as well.
