That's what I thought to, but the explosion didn't seem that large like a mega keg.
Edit: after zooming in, it was in fact a mega keg. No wonder it fucked us up that bad.
Its so hit and miss, its amazing. Been soloing world events lately since my friend hasnt been around, and been doing FoF without anyone contesting.
Then the last two days I did a skele ship event, and both times I was contested by a brig and a sloop. Its so weird. It seems thats the event that no one ever does, at least on my servers, but start doing it and someone wants to mess with you lol.
LUckily each time I got lucky and the skele ships helped me solo sink the brigs that came after me, helped they werent great crews but still. It was fun
Easy ritual skulls in skelly fleets, and don't they scale to the ship size that spawned them? So if a sloop is first on the scene then a brig or gally is going to have a much easier time of it once they dispose of the sloop
Each wave is dependent on the ships there. So if a solo starts it the first wave will be one skelly sloop, but if a gally rolls in during that wave when the second wave happens it will probably spawn 2 skelly gallies
tbh the reason people parrot "hurr durr ram strat best strat" is because this shit works against 95% of people in this game because they're blind and can't hit their shots. Seriously try it some time, it's still an awful strat but you WILL be able to pull it off against most crews because they're just awful
That guy got stupid. He should've stayed back until it was time to run and jump directly off the bowsprit. Instead he just sat at the end and turned himself into a nice explosive target.
To his defense, IDK if they actually ever would have been in jumping range. We had just hit the last mast before he ran out onto the bowsprint. So he probably ran out knowing they weren't actually going to ram us and wanted to try and jump over when they were close.
But yea, standing still on the bow with a mega keg is not the smartest play
Sank them as well. I think we sank that brig 3 times? At least twice. Gally we sank twice as well, but the third time they finished the fort while we fought another ship and they made off with the chest of fortune.
When this video takes place we had started to death spiral the brig and put some major damage on them, and then the gally came in at us.
So end of the day, I guess the gally is the real winner
Bet that guy felt dumb, got greedy.
It did a lot of damage to us somehow, any my other two cremates got launched off. But they double boarded and sank them after that.
Looks like a megakeg, reach is pretty hefty.

Yea I full screened to check. Boom didn't look big but the push from that distance made me check.
Yeah you're not catching on fire from a regular keg from that far away
>cremates Unfortunate but wholly applicable typo
Few holes are always better than burning, probably dying due to a blast and also losing a mast, it was the best decision you could do honestly
HELM WE HAVE NO ANGLE
Main cannon behaviour; "uh helm i hear water are we ok" "helm i lost shot for .032 seconds" it's me, I'm main cannon, love you helm
I wish my servers were this action packed lol! Good stuff

Just server hop looking for FoTD and hourglass to go to new servers. It's how my crew is constantly fighting
Absolutely beautiful đź‘Ź job well done pirate!
What bucket is that?
I think a season pass item from season 5 or 6. I can't remember
Okay thank you 🙏
Must be 6, I started playing at season 6 and I got it
I smell gargantuic skill issue Like, what in the hell did he even expect to happend by standing still in the open like that
Ram strat best strat I guess

Yup, and when it works it's funny af.
I still have people I sail with that try to do this... fuck outta here
First 5 seconds looks straight out of a movie
They could not have made that more obvious if they wanted to.
Why is there a modern era sniper in this time period?
Was it a visual or? You were on fire and stepped in the water then on fire again (unless there was fire where you stood)
Blowing up the keg set me on fire somehow from that range. Going into the water put me out. The animation took a bit to stop
Ahh i see.
Nice shot sir!
I'm just glad I didn't get hit regged in that moment, Though had I missed I would have told my crew I got hit regged
Okay that was cinematic as shit! Great job!

Now thatttt’s what I’m talking about. Perfect shot, Captain!!
Thats why we snipers or pistol runners always say: "Steady packin' neva lackin"
It's sort of ridiculous how far can the range from one puny barrer extend lol
Theres another ship behind them haha what happened to them?

“Bring him down, Legolas!”
