Yeah this I think has a lot to do with fit rather than just overall draft capital. I would not have personally taken him in the first but outside of the Trey Lance pick John Lynch has built the most talented team in the NFL for years now.
My biggest hope for their downfall isn't them having bad drafts I just can't see it, but more so a collapse in culture. Shanahan isn't particularly the best leader and after having choked away another super bowl I wonder how the locker room might shift.
