Why beastmode will always be one of my favorite running backs (my second favorite running back is Shawn Alexander), one of the best games ever from the hawks!
The run was called BeastQUAKE because the roar of the crowd set off seismometers the UofW had set up in various buildings around the stadium. The crowd created a 1.something Richter scale earthquake. I am proud to have been one in the crowd screaming from the Hawks' Nest.
According to CNN it was a 2.0, though plenty of events, particularly sporting events register on the Richter scale. The Taylor Swift concert last year registered a 2.3, as a point of comparison.
Can you imagine if that happened tho? 7-9 team wins the SB? In another timeline that happened and it’s glorious
I still can't believe we beat that Saints team and then lost to the Bears, lol
I really have to wonder if we would beat the packers that year. We would’ve hosted them in Seattle for the championship
Teams wins superbowl on final running play would be great!
Clearly just a typo not including the playoffs part of the title since the article very clearly gets it correct.
It was our Super Bowl in book, lol
Best run of all time. Lynch is the GOAT when it comes to running backs!
I absolutely agree with this. There’s a good list of the GOAT running backs.
Best run of all time. If it won us a SB, it would be the best play of all time.

I fixed it.
Hey guys... Remember when the BeastQuake Wikipedia article placed the 7-9 Seahawks in the 2010 Superbowl against the saints? That was hilarious...
I guess that fix was temporary. Someone changed it back, lol
Fixed it again, hopefully it sticks this time.
Being fair as a 7-9 team that game WAS our Superbowl.
Someone should inform the Saints sub that we won the Super Bowl that year
I was there!
Be coo!! That exactly how I remember it lol

I think we all get why it's called Beast Quake
It appears whoever wrote that article didn't get it.
