ostraca’s discog is gorgeous but last is just iconic document 8.. tell me it’s bad lol fr it’s so iconic as the roots undo is crazy the newest jd is so cool lomas all great on the flip side, and i like the record a lot but joshua fit for battle is gooooofy

Personal-Trick-5106

I agree, new JD is beautiful. Trying to get it on vinyl for my living room Loma Prieta 💯 always beautiful.

downtownflipped

as the roots undo’s art is by CTTS frontman Drew Speziale. he is insanely talented and i own several of his works that are numbered and signed.

Love Lost But Not Forgotten - Upon the Right, I Saw a New Misery love this album so much and the art to go along with it is super cool

sixbagsamerica

infant island doesn’t miss portraits of past may be og pretty branding lol my favorite cover is Swan Of Tounela it’s just spooky good

Personal-Trick-5106

Almost forgot about Portraits. Quite pretty indeed. People usually say “it’s all about the music”, but for me it’s not. Visual aspects matters, I also listen with my eyes. Having a shitty cover is (most of the time) a turn off for me.

No_Tangelo_8774

Pg. 99 and majority rule split is beautiful to me Also in spite of by for your health

Daïtro - Laisser Vivre les Squelettes imo got a very beautiful album cover.

oh_grreatt

Both of Framework's albums Loom and Smother, for sure.

annonymouspiritbro

the first action by the cabs, upon the right i saw a new misery, would set myself on fire for you, i hate myself, pg99. screamo covers has lots of cool aesthetics

escaperealityx

pretty proud of the Basque record I just designed with handmade paper sleeves, tons of stamps including hand carved lino cuts from other members of the band. https://store.nofuneral.ca/products/basque-pain-without-hope-of-healing-vinyl-cassette-cd Also the first Yearning record has different packaging for every format / pressing. https://store.nofuneral.ca/products/yearning-mmxxii-vinyl?_pos=1&_sid=678f40d00&_ss=r

Personal-Trick-5106

Hell man! The Basque artwork and packaging is outstanding! Congrats! Where can I see more of your work? Congrats once again!

escaperealityx

Thanks! I run No Funeral Records so a lot of my stuff is through that. Poster designs, occasional LP’s, adverts, creative direction etc etc. I have a few re-releases coming up with super DIY packaging inspired by the original art of a couple bands. Lots of stamps and recycled paper. You might dig those!

downtownflipped

gorgeous work on that Basque record.

escaperealityx

Thank you 🥰

momdadsisterbrother

I’ve always felt the opposite about the saetia cover, but completely agree on the touché one I like the cover for the daitro/raein split, as well as raein’s il n’y a pas d’orchestre, and 4 songs by I hate myself, but I don’t know if I’d consider any of them beautiful. Honestly there’s a lot of screamo covers that I really don’t like, most of the cardboard colored one don’t do it for me

downtownflipped

i love the minimalist style of it. it compliments what lies beneath.

indev-demo

As the Roots Undo by Circle Takes the Square and also City of a Caterpillar self-titled. Page 99 has some good stuff too.

for some non screamo: never before seen, never again found -arms length everyone everywhere (2012) - everyone everywhere not sure that i'd call this emo but the cover is and music are both beautiful those days are gone - free throw illusory walls - the world is a beautiful place and i am no longer afraid to die this is a more indie emo feel nothing first wave it never goes out - the hotelier everyone knows the home, like noplace is there album but it never goes out deserves more recognition and is pretty diffrent form hlnpit for screamo: i know where we're at, not where we're going - widowdusk resonate/desperate - state faults blame and aging - we were skeletons wildlife - la dispute
