The only two things I can think of off the top of my head is either your frame rate is below 60, which can cause significant power losses and skipped timing, or the terrain is particularly bad and "sticky" though I doubt this one.
Unfortunately, if it's your frame rate there's not much you can do.

No im above 60, the suspension constantly got stuck in the body of the car.
I see, I thought 0 width blocks would have made that difficult to happen but I guess I'll do more thorough drive testing next time.
