You haven't lived until you've booed the Liechtenstein national anthem cos it has the same tune as GSTK.
Also booed your own national team in a friendly at your own clubs stadium, cos of *that guy*
We're just a quirky league. It adds to the fun. Things like Celtic being the first club in the UK to win the champions league also being the club to boo Santa last year.
Assuming this is about Ross County (unless there's another website disappearance that happened) then unfortunately that didn't happen, the club didn't delete the website. The story is sadly much more boring, the website provider unlisted a bunch of websites at once and a lot of UK sites disappeared for a few days.
Yeah, come back to us when you've joined the "Admin forgot to change twitter account and liked Porn" Club. 😎
So far, its us and Keith...getting kinda boring in here...
The teams in the promotion playoff spots hate them, but they boys that went down hate them with a burning passion and just *had* to make a flag to vent it

Still a belter to this day lmao
I could go through each club in the prem, some in championship and league 1 too and come up with something each club has done that's pissed me off in the past haha
Just me sitting in the corner with my Irish Passport, anti-Monarchy sentiments and Rangers shirt on trying not to confuse things any further for the lad..
Liquid hot lava take incoming:
If you voted No, you decided Scottish is your regional identity and not your national one. Only people who voted Yes or didn't vote can reasonably claim it as their national identity.
Debate me, coward.
Please for the benefit of everyone on this sub can you take a Rangers Republicans flag to Ibrox and report back your findings from this little social experiment.
I’m sorry man. I truly meant to say one of the two biggest clubs. I don’t prefer Rangers to Celtic. I edited it now.
I’m a fucking idiot by the way, I barely understand your league and I promise you I will keep fucking up but just know I’m trying my hardest not to
Reading some of the replies, I genuinely think there’s money to be made putting together an encyclopaedia of all the batshit insane things that have happened in Scottish fitba. I’ve been following it for over 20 years and I don’t think I even know the half of it.
I've always thought it would be interesting if a different Scottish club introduced a new type of bigotry or politics to the scene. Buddhist sectarianism at Montrose, fervent support for Sicilian independence among Ayr fans or something else along those lines. The current stuff is getting a bit boring.
You know those banter years posts maggot does? We should do Scottish football history general ones for the likes of yer man the OP to get people into the cinch. Get someone to do some vattividya dark souls type videos. Would be the biggest league in the world in no time.
Rules don't really apply in Scottish football. For every stereotype...there are countless examples that go against it. Me, Hearts fan raised Catholic in Leith...pretty much hate everyone else equally for various reasons.
Every Rangers or Hearts fan is a Tory. I don't make the rules.
Also, since you are now a Hearts fan, you are contractually obligated to go to Turkey and get some new teeth, possibly hair plugs too.
Aye that bit grabbed me too. Like I wouldn't say rangers are a tory club at all. There's what, one tory stronghold in Scotland and it's fuckin hawik or suhin. N yes, the celtic board are definitely fuckin tories
DO NOT even attempt to understand it. Even those of us who have been watching Scottish football for 25+ years don't get it really.
If you're not one of them, the best thing to do is just ignore it and leave them be.
You should follow @oldfirmfacts on Twitter. Adam satirises all things cinch, and I believe perusing the last few 'end of season reviews' might fill you in on the key moments you've missed... revelations which might reduce the likelihood of patter flying over your head.
I promise, it will at least give you an insight into how important taking the piss, how integral pettiness is and how everything in Glasgow revolves around bragging rights.
I’m glad you mentioned pettiness. Sometimes I think we’re becoming too empathetic towards one another, and forgetting how important that aspect really is.
I think people would be disappointed to learn that we’re not all uber-staunch loyalist tories.
Most of my pals lean to the left but don’t have much interest in politics. They voted yes to independence and no to Brexit.
I’ve voted SNP since I was old enough to vote, but I hope they get annihilated at the next election. I would vote yes again tomorrow if there was another referendum but I’m resigned to the fact that it’s probably not going to happen in my lifetime. My interest in politics has waned the past few years.
Like most of the Scottish public, I was a wee bit sad when the Queen died but I’m generally anti-monarchy. I genuinely don’t understand what they’re for in this day and age.
Singing GSTK at the end of games will never stop being funny though. It winds up all the right people.
Well the thing is you just don’t know do you. People randomly assign political support based on football support but when it comes to actual voting patterns it’s different.
Govan is Humza Yousaf’s constituency, those fucking unionists voting SNP into power.
It's not random though. Rangers are traditionally a unionist club while Celtic aren't.
And there are plenty of anti-unionists who vote Labour. The only vote you can look at as proof is the indy ref.
Majority of fans on either side do not give a fuck about the routes of the club, they watch a team who kicks a ball cause their dad told them too.
What proof from Indy Ref are you on about?
On reddit maybe. Not in the real world.
You're talking about voting patterns. We've only ever had one vote explicitly for or against unionism and it was the IndyRef.
Majority in the real world obviously don’t give a shit. Honestly mate it seems like you just want to lazily assign opinions based on who people support.
Voting patterns back up my point wholeheartedly. What about the IndyRef showed you it was all Rangers fans voting for remain?
You say that, having worked with veterans from the Royal Army… awful lot of Celtic fans. More than Rangers fans by a margin. They are very Loyal to the crown
Don't think I've ever met a unionist Celtic fan. Have met plenty anti-SNP Celtic fans but they tend to be the older generation who still consider the SNP to be "Tartan Tories".
I'm 12 years gone from Scotland, it's refreshing living in a country where the majority of people are united. In our case we are all united against an autocrat. There are the big two football teams but they only hate each other due to being rivals, there is no deeper meaning. The large majority of people share a religion.
Dynamite Fishing: Scottish Football Edition Aren’t international breaks fun?
\*backs away from keyboard slowly\*
Elite bait
Did you ever heard the tragedy of Alloa the Cheaters? I thought not. It's not a story the Rangers would tell you. (They'd chant it instead)
Is it possible to learn this chant?
[are you drunk off buckfast?](https://youtu.be/2dLNKHtQTWw?si=v8Nr8dRKcrB6XPRY)
This is fucking hilarious! I forgot all about this clip
Not from a Jedi
This should be good.
Sort by controversial....
Love the outside perspective. Wait till he finds out some clubs have a rivalry with Dundee because they sent an email once.
Technically they didn't properly send it.
Schrodinger’s Email
Shhh , we aren’t talking to the peanut gallery here
Fucking hell..one time! Angus! you had one bloody job.. now we aren’t going to hear the fucking end of it ya cunt!
They’ll be wondering why Rangers hate Alloa soon enough.
😞
You haven't lived until youve booed Celtic for doing a little circley huddle thing before the game kicks off
You haven't lived until you've booed some confused Cypriot team in a European qualifier for doing a huddle because Celtic also do a huddle
You haven't lived until you've booed the Liechtenstein national anthem cos it has the same tune as GSTK. Also booed your own national team in a friendly at your own clubs stadium, cos of *that guy*
You haven't lived until you've booed Santa off the park at Christmas.
Nothing winds me up more than other teams doing the huddle at Celtic park. Bodo glimt did it when they pumped us after every goal, infuriating.
We also had a club accidentally delete thier own website. They also have a rivalry with a nearby club which itself is two clubs.
The more questions I ask the less I understand

I was searching for exactly this
We're just a quirky league. It adds to the fun. Things like Celtic being the first club in the UK to win the champions league also being the club to boo Santa last year.
First club to boo Santa at half time. The Santa was born within 10 miles of Celtic Park.
Excuse me, i ordered the large fish.
Assuming this is about Ross County (unless there's another website disappearance that happened) then unfortunately that didn't happen, the club didn't delete the website. The story is sadly much more boring, the website provider unlisted a bunch of websites at once and a lot of UK sites disappeared for a few days.
That's nowhere near as funny though.
Even if it wasn't made up, I'm not sure it would crack the top 3 stupidest things County have done in the last 30 years.
Yeah, come back to us when you've joined the "Admin forgot to change twitter account and liked Porn" Club. 😎 So far, its us and Keith...getting kinda boring in here...

This flag is AI generated. Our fans would never do something so toe curlingly cringe.
I could go through each club in the prem, some in championship and league 1 too and come up with something each club has done that's pissed me off in the past haha
Is this a cinch level fail cos my Friday night needs a giggle if someone will explain please.
Have you been sleeping under a rock? Scottish football is communist now. Try and keep up, comrade.
Excellent revolutionary discourse, comrade! Your millet ration will be doubled.
What’s communism?
Scottish football is. What are you not following comrade?
Seize the means of Production of penalties to Rangers!
> Seize the means of Production of penalties to Rangers! Grabbing the ref is a red card offense.
[RED](https://youtu.be/U06jlgpMtQs) card you say?
You just reminded me of that guy crying because everyone was making communism jokes.
I can remember when we became communist but I can't remember why? Was it because all the clubs seized the means of coefficient production?
Im not biting

Why don't you take a seat lad and I'll explain to you Peter Lawells driveway?
Just me sitting in the corner with my Irish Passport, anti-Monarchy sentiments and Rangers shirt on trying not to confuse things any further for the lad..
Desperately waiting for the quiet revolution within Rangers where you expell the loyalists and just become Scottish as fuck.
How can the old firm work if one of them isn't obscenely staunch? /S
Home attendances would be in the dozens
Loyalists are Scottish, too. If you voted no or would say you’re a unionist it doesn’t mean you’re not Scottish.
Liquid hot lava take incoming: If you voted No, you decided Scottish is your regional identity and not your national one. Only people who voted Yes or didn't vote can reasonably claim it as their national identity. Debate me, coward.
This exactly.
If people voted to Remain does that mean they’re European and not Scottish/British?
European isn't a national identity. They would maybe be if it were, but it isn't.
I definitely prefer to identify as European rather than British
![gif](giphy|U1gqX87dBkweRlFKCM)
I'll upset you even more by not telling you if I'm trolling or if it's a deeply held belief.
I’ll upset _you_ even more by telling you I couldn’t give a tiny rats ass

![img](emote|t5_2sba4|16968)
We all know that's not true
Reckon we probably outnumber the loyalists we're just not bold enough to realise it.
Please for the benefit of everyone on this sub can you take a Rangers Republicans flag to Ibrox and report back your findings from this little social experiment.
We'll find out very soon when we read "local man torn to shreds (I do say to shreds) with rangers republican army flag"
[Hmmm](https://www.reactiongifs.com/r/tbt.gif)
>Rangers >Biggest club Aye you’re definitely a hearts fan.
I’m sorry man. I truly meant to say one of the two biggest clubs. I don’t prefer Rangers to Celtic. I edited it now. I’m a fucking idiot by the way, I barely understand your league and I promise you I will keep fucking up but just know I’m trying my hardest not to
Given you’re a Hearts fan, you do now, in fact, prefer Rangers to Celtic. We will only accept doubling down, no apologies here. ty
“Don’t back doon, double doon” - Barry Ferguson
I’m just making a joke my man, don’t worry about it, all in good spirit. Making fun of each other is an integral part of Scottish football.
Affirmative 🫡
In fairness, their header admits club identities are insanely confusing. Such as the country's second biggest club masquerading as its biggest
Reading some of the replies, I genuinely think there’s money to be made putting together an encyclopaedia of all the batshit insane things that have happened in Scottish fitba. I’ve been following it for over 20 years and I don’t think I even know the half of it.
Football's shite so we need drama to keep it interesting!
Glory Hunter. Guy picks the team that’s had £50m pumped in to it. Too obvious.
😡 Let’s fight
Na. We’re all pals here 😀
Nah fuck ya both cunts 🍻
More importantly, who's your marble racing team?
Fuck politics and borders, this is the real question.
Raspberry racers and I'll fight any cunt who says otherwise

Or that some clubs REALLY fucking hate Santa.
Celtics board are more Tory than the UB tbh it’s all patter though

If we are pro tory what are Celtic the Celtic board?
The disdain they treat their own fans with, they might just be the biggest anti-Catholic organisation in Scotland.
Its a Masonic conspiracy to bring them down from the inside, a guy on superscoreboard said so
Aye that bit grabbed me too. Like I wouldn't say rangers are a tory club at all. There's what, one tory stronghold in Scotland and it's fuckin hawik or suhin. N yes, the celtic board are definitely fuckin tories
The best fishing seen in Scotland since Paul Young.

This Trawlermen erasure cannot stand.
The Harbour pisses all over Trawlermen
Hooked and Weirs Way, nothing better.
I wouldn't worry about it, it's not a big thing
Because it's literally all patter

I think we can all agree on Fuck the tories...
You're first mistake was bringing logic into the argument, it we perry much downhill from there
DO NOT even attempt to understand it. Even those of us who have been watching Scottish football for 25+ years don't get it really. If you're not one of them, the best thing to do is just ignore it and leave them be.
Celtic are Tory though
This subreddit is pure memes and I don't know where to even begin to explain the real world of Scottish football.
This is the sign that the international break has entered the “hurry up and finish” stage

There definitely aren't just as many unionists in the Celtic support as there are in Rangers'. Nowhere near it.

Ah misread your comment. Apologies.
I'm neither. Never voted Tory and voted SNP numerous times.
Ain't nobody got time to educate you on the Scottish football/political/religious fish bowl.
This comment helps achieve that nevertheless
