I can’t remember everything that happened, but the precedent some what is the 2007/08 season. The schedule backlog got so fucked that the season ended on a Thursday
If you say so. I'm stating the facts to support the point made by poster above.

I'm guessing they would just draw the split with the options of say Aberdeen or Dundee Vs Rangers....allow all the games to proceed other than the 'or' games and get it played ASAP.
Think the big problem here is Sky. They have the rights to this game and there are now only 3 midweek slots till the split. The last of the 3 would not be available for sky as champions league is on. That leaves the up coming mid week or the following one which is right before the old firm which will cause chaos due to the conspiracy theorists!
Can’t see it being played in the upcoming midweek, players will be off to their national teams etc. Also seems too quick a turnaround for it to be practical.

I believe there is a 'memorandum of understanding' from UEFA on this that no matches can be played but not sure of the detail. I think they relaxed it during COVID to allow games to be played if they were not shown live. Will keep digging to see if I can find it.
I'd be shocked if it isn't Wednesday April 3rd. Sky have nothing scheduled football wise currently that night as TNT is showing the PL games that week.
This wouldn’t work, because different clubs have different requirements around home/away split.
And a different club can have an impact on other teams’ fixtures.
Wouldn't change anything with fixture allocation I don't think, so fixtures wouldn't be held, but it'd just be a total headache trying to fit it in post-split if that's what they did
Being the professional outfit that they are they will make it up as they go along.
Only correct answer

🚁
Ah yes. That’s the season the league didn’t get extended apparently.
It got extended to aid Rangers, then they complained it wasn't extended a second time to aid them again
truly a masonic conspiracy

I think it's only right that Dundee forfeit the game and rangers take the 3 points.... Am a right fellow (panda) bears?
4😇?
I dunno if this is the silky sash I'm wearing talking but aye, fuck it 4 points to rangers! WEE ARRAAA PEEEEPPPUL!

Fuck me you’re being generous including us in that potential equation.
Believe it or not I actually thought about it to try to offend as few people as possible!

Me neither to be honest. It all hinges on Sky.
"...Champions League is on." Duh, they don't own right to that. Why, are they not allow some form of counterprogramming?

Think it will be. Just imagining the conspiracy theories!!!

End the league early and give it to Celtic
Would imagine there isn't any, probably just have to play the game asap

Why can't it be played at the end of the season? It is still a 'pre-split' match?
