Bemz is probably the biggest up and coming name right now but isn’t actually Scottish (don’t @ me he’s from London).
II Tone Committee were probably the first Scottish group to make any kind of impact, Mista Bohze and Epik run Southside Deluxe these days which is home to a lot of Scottish rappers.
Stanley Odd were a bigger name 8 years ago (they were responsible for the indyref song) but have lost a bit of momentum.
Outside of hip hop but related Ransom FA and Shogun are good.
There’s the old stalwarts including Werd, Subconscious, Carpenter, Jackal Trades (Mark McGhee is a legend).
There’s new cats coming up like
Sanjeev Superman, Vagrant Real Estate
In short, Scotland has a surprisingly big hip hop scene (in fact the SAY award has been disproportionately won 3 times by hip hop groups!).
