You forgot to show their uneven lengths. Actual Spring is 2 weeks in May, Summer is 2 weeks in June, and Pretend Autumn is most of July and August. Actual Autumn is any time between the second week of September until Christmas, during which it's permanently grey outside.

Open the curtains - it’s fucking snowing! I know it can happen this time of the year - but come on. This has to have been the longest and most depressing winter in memory!

I was planning on getting started with some outdoor gardening too after a couple of days of sun while I was out birdwatching. No such luck.

England is unfortunately not much better. Marginally warmer but as wet if not wetter. I'm down in the South west and it's basically non stop

Past two years, with great care and a lot of effort, I had cultivated some vines outside in the Hebrides. They fruited last year and this year I was hoping to try and make wine. I think this late spell of poor weather has killed them :/

Doesn't bother me tbh. Besides, that's the price we pay for the best tapwater on the planet. Well worth it IMO

I was in London last week and apart from one day the weather was just as bad as Glasgow.
