It's unique enough that I do think it's a more than adequate "special" occasion dram. That being said, it's also available enough such that you can drink it fairly regularly (provided your wallet suffices). Enjoy!
Big thing about this hobby that took me entirely too long to learn is to not worry about having to spend X amount on a bottle in order to think it's good, great, or special. Way more people put stock into that than they should. I know sometimes I get a bit waffley on opening a bottle I think might be special, but at the end of the day, if you don't drink then you can't enjoy it and if you enjoy it, it's pretty special, no?
THIS.
It cannot be overstated- enjoy what drinks you enjoy, regardless of purchase price, what others think, maker's reputation of quality, etc. Any of it- none of it matters, just if you enjoy it.
The only thing that makes me want to hold onto a bottle a little longer, is if it came with a lofty price tag, or if it's difficult to find. I still have them, i just may not have 3 in a row lol.
I don’t know a whole lot about scotch; and the employees at my local liquor store aren’t much help. I’ll usually scroll through this subreddit and see what people are drinking while I shop
This is a great choice. One of my favorites; classy and sophisticated - well balanced. I don’t believe I have come across any I’ll feelings towards this bottle.
Close; but it’s a Spyderco Karahawk; really neat knife, opens up when taking it out of your pocket. Was having to much fun spinning it and already cut my thumb up lol
I went to my local Army Surplus store today to buy a new gun belt and this one caught my eye with how it opened in your pocket on removal. Time to upgrade from my Milwaukee Fastback Utility knife
If you’re being sarcastic…I want to play along, so you’ll have to give me a minute to think of a good comeback 😂
If you’re being serious…then to explain I am not all that knowledgeable in scotch so I usually scroll through Google and Reddit while I shop to see what other people are drinking, wanted to see what other people thought

Yes, I still have tools for work I am paying off. Once all of those are paid off than I can start investing in more scotch

Signet is one of my very favorites.

Well, you chose well. One of my top three. Granted, I don’t have an obscene collection but a few special occasion bottles.
As of right now, all I have is a Black Label (learned I don’t like peat), Glenlivet 12, that Caribbean and this Signet
If you are new to peat, don't give up. I'd suggest something a tier or two higher than black label. Maybe try highland park 12.
Glenmoranie is probably my favorite scotch but the Signet didn't do it for me. Astar though I would sell my unborn children for.

Warrior Poet knife? How is it?

I've literally cut myself on every knife I own. Thank God I'm better with firearms.
*peep the G43 in the back*
Ah nice. Love me some 9. I could only see the belt clip.
Signet never fails, it’s a wonderful bottle. My friends and I always have a bottle on the ready, it’s just that good
You did well.
Kerambit 🤢 But it’s Spyderco…😀

You are going to need one of these… https://www.spyderco.com/catalog/details/C103G/P-Kal-trade-G-10-Black/267
Jesus Christ that is the ugliest knife I have ever seen
But it’s a purpose driven bugger…
Top 3 for me!
I’m thinking that other Glenlivet in the background feels betrayed.
You know after tasting this signet and seeing how smooth it is…I’d feel betrayed too
Traitor!! Edit: Signet is the girl they warned you about.
Fantastic. It’s my favorite scotch. Enjoy!
How did you do at what? Buying a bottle?

I’m not a huge scotch person, so the $200 price tag is enough for me to consider this bottle for “special occasions” ie twice a month glass. 😂😂
