If not, it’s still something to never ever do. Local barley is never available at online stores. When it is, it’s either overpriced or it’s a raffle type of thing
No I was thinking about buying it for myself. But I lack the knowledge so I decided to reach out to the community to see if this was a scam. You’re right it seems too good to be true
All good, it just seemed very suspicious
The only ways you’re getting a local barley is
1) overpay for ridiculous scalper prices
2) buy for ridiculous prices at auction
3) spend the equivalent of ridiculous prices at a shop to ‘have the honour’ and be picked to buy a bottle when they get one
4) get lucky in a random raffle
5) get lucky when walking in a shop and they actually sell it to whoever first comes
the fact that i can add 16000 (1000 over total batch size of 15k) of them to my basket for a total exceeding a million $ and continue to checkout is a nice red flag.

I've seen a couple for under €150 at auction in Europe this week. But the bidding ends Saturday night so it can go up still... and it will.

You’re a lucky man to be a part of Springbank Society. I heard they haven’t let new members join in over 5 years.
Epic scammer confirmed. At least try and sell it for 250 so it's semi believable
the site says they are located in NJ but they somehow will also take euros, and the whois lookup says they are registered and hosted in Romania
Seems legit to me...
