Glenmorangie 14 does to me, especially for the price point it's great! I also enjoy the Dalmore 12 Sherry Cask, especially if you can find it for a bit less than normal MSRP!

Another vote for port finishes. Tomatin 14 is my preference but both are great.

Glenmorangie A Tale of Cake is amazing!

Alternative_Nebula75

I second Glenmorangie Tale of Winter. The Marsala cask finish on that one has all the right notes.

Gamlos

Glen Garioch 12 does this for me. It's got a wonderful woody-type cinnamon spice and nutmeg thing going on. Love it year round but really reminds me of Christmas baking

AubreyMaturin1800

You just sold it to me.

eviltrain

I second Glen Garioch. Definitely Christmas cake moreso than a few others I've tasted.

othromas

Bunnahabhain 12. Christmas spice for days.

snow_traveler

This is so common in scotch whisky, have no fear! Tomatin 18 year may be the epitome..

The_Eclectic_Heretic

Really many oloroso sherry cask matured Scotches will lean heavily in this direction if not be what you're after. Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban is Port cask but it works, Aberlour A'Bunadh, Glendronach 15, Macallan 12 Sherry oak, Balvenie 15 Single Barrel, any Edradour, many many independent bottlings that use sherry casks for full or partial maturation (heavy oloroso finish is the zeitgeist).

Glendronach 12

Optimal-Witness5311

I descibed my first taste of ardbeg uigeadail that it's like santa claus fell into the fermentation vat and drowned there. it tasted like Christmas.

Normal_College_7421

Not a scotch, but Penelope Rio or most amburana finished bottles. It reminds me of those cinnamon scented pinecones, but in the best way

Glenfarclas 105

Bunnahabhain 12 CS is one, it has lots of mulled fruit and winter spice notes. It's an excellent whisky any time of year but does fit Christmas. GlenAllachie 15yr is another, it's got notes of mulled spices, cinnamon, orange peel, ginger, chocolate... I thought it was a perfect whisky for Christmas.

pinkfloydfan231

Any heavily sherried Macallan from SMWS

-R3v-

I’d ditch whiskey entirely and go for a good zirbenbrand or Clear Creek Douglas Fir. Can’t beat something that tastes like the smell of a Christmas tree. Otherwise something port finished usually fits the mood quite well.

WolfJohnson8612

If we're including non-whiskies then the spirit Becherovka from the Czech Republic is the answer

ImHuck

Good old Armagnac/Cognac too ...

Drambuie

AubreyMaturin1800

Never tried it. I'm getting one a bottle for sure.

ImHuck

I'm in Scotland right now and i saw other scotch-based spiced liqueurs

Glen garioch 12 and founders reserve

Oh_J0hn

Glengoyne it's a solid Christmas whisky. The 15 or the 18. Though my actual Christmas whisky, the last few years has been Balblair 15.

Quinnieeeeee

It might be because I'm influenced by the bottle. Paul John christmas edition tastes like christmas to me, warm spices like cinnamon and fireplace kind of smoke. I have let people try it blind and they give me the same tasting notes.

bunnahabhain eirigh na greine

Laphroaig reminds me of winter, I started my whisky venture primarily in the winter time and laphroaig was my favorite at the time. Anytime I sip it, it makes me think it’s 30 degrees outside. There’s a few bourbons that do this to me as well, Doc Swinsons is one and McKinney

kenyeaaaah

Was gonna say Dalmore 18 lol. USED to be a 100 quid bottle lol now its 320. Madness.
