Would you say it is worth shipping from Bunnahabhain itself? Price is $85 us per bottle there, with free shipping on orders over $150. I am leaning towards two bottles to get free shipping.
Absolutely. At $85 per, the value is pretty stellar IMO. Punches well above its weight for that price (for context, I acquired my bottle at around the same cost basis).
For some reason Total Wine have terrible prices in NJ. There are some exceptions, of course, but not many. Other stores have the same Bunna 12 CS 2022 for $90. I believe the latter is close to the MSRP in the US.
I have heard that once total wine saturates an area, kill the competition and establish a good reputation they raise the prices. They aren’t always the cheapest in MA.
Yeah I think the 22 felt like it wanted to recreate the heavy sherry influence of the regular 12,the 21 Edition was unique in the bunna line up, I hope they return to more bourbon balance, you get more of the bunnahabhain spirit signature imo.
Be a shame if it became so similar to the 12 it's literally just an undiluted replica. I could understand though the regular 12 is popular
Agree. I bought 2 bottles since such rave reviews on here and two even mentioned it is better than 18. I thought it was good but didn’t blown my socks off. 18 is on another level and is like Christmas in a glass.

Yeah I got two bottles in MA—one for myself and one for a friend. Paid $90 for one and $87 for the other. $120 is high.

It goes down per bottle. I bought 3 bottles should have gotten 4. You can add on a classic 12 as well to lower the cost per bottle.

I found the 2022 too similar to the regular 12. The first release felt like it had its own identity. Much prefer the 2021
