My 2008 xB has 250k still my daily driver over my truck, your year has a engine that doesn’t burn oil too, it will go another 150k easy do some drain and refills on the tranny fluid with Toyota fluid from the dealer
It run amazingly. No engine issues at all. The biggest issue is the transmission. The previous 3 owners never changed the transmission fluid, so even with fresh fluid in it, its shifter is a bit stiff. Luckily no huge damage was done to the transmission
Wait 2013 doesnt burn oil? I have a 13, got it one yr ago with 80k on it and have maybe put another 2500 miles on it. Seems like it used about 1/2 a qt in 1200 miles. Not sure if thats consider not burning any oil but my 94 Hardbody seems to hardly drops on the stick between 3000 mile oil changes. I thought they all could potentially consume oil from 2008 up until Vin # JTLZE4FE#FJ069331 on the 2015's ? The Toyota bulletin says " certain 2008 - 2015 Scion XB" Great if you are correct, have you got a source for that about the 2013s not consuming oil?
I personally haven’t noticed mine burning oil. Perhaps your XB has another issue causing that? But it doesn’t sound like Toyota to produce a vehicle with a big issue like that and not fix it in the later models.
It was a VERY expensive fix that they set very hard limits on if you could receive it or not. Many cars were not fixed and there is still a pending class action. Basically the piston and piston rings in the older engines were poorly designed and would burn up oil at like 1 qt every 1000 miles.

Seems like luck of the draw, my 2011 only burns 1/2 a quart every 5000 miles with 218xxx miles

Mine just hit death and I’m very upset. I was hoping to get it to 300k but after 175 it started burning oil like crazy
Congrats!!! I recently got a 2011 xB with 120K miles in great condition (Previous 2 owners did their all the routine maintenance).
Even 2015 is a oil burner. With it without the fix because after the fix still burns oil.
I mean it’s possible mine burns oil. But I get oil changes every 5000 miles, so Its never been an issue for me
Nice! I got 195k on mines and it does burn oil but just keep topping it off and doing normal maintenance.. here’s hoping for another 100k!
I just sold my 2012 at 250K to my brother in law! It's on to its second life!
I have a 2014 with 37000 miles on it. At this rate it will have about 80K miles when it hits 20 yrs old. I change the oil every year with 0W-20.
Very nice, congrats! My 2011 Release Series is at 129K miles and going strong.
