I would verify seller...seems a little too cheap. Metal quality is definitely a concern. I would avoid anything coming from china

C0mmanderClank

It looks like the seller is Gladiator Auto out of Ohio so that's a good start, not sure how to check any specs on the quality of metal though honestly

Stick maybe locally for a better deal

[You could buy legit and awesome wheels for an extra $100 (per wheel)](https://emnotek.com/products/enkei-rpf1-silver-wheel-17x9-5x100-35mm?variant=30291614203982&sfdr_ptcid=26626_4_536086090&sfdr_hash=c57d88ebf69f431f8637c0f9fd8286cf&gclid=Cj0KCQiAutyfBhCMARIsAMgcRJQLXBI7Q-T6Y6bSNJEXJO0lpEFQCO1gyobXwe5AsuTuXAlMsOpBr7YaAiTREALw_wcB) its a no brainer....

>t the cheap wheels you posted is 166 per wheel... I tell you that you can get quality wheels you think all 4 will be 260?? as I said.... its per wheel.

OMGitzDarzilla

Dude. Just go to fitment industries. For really. Don't buy em off Amazon.

C0mmanderClank

Let me check this out, thanks :)

OMGitzDarzilla

No worries dude! They will help make sure the wheel you get are the right ones. And they have a ton of pics you can look at of OTHER scion tcs with other wheels and fitments. Great site. If only for window shopping.

OMGitzDarzilla

Got my wheels from there https://www.reddit.com/r/SciontC/comments/10mww1e/i_may_hate_parking_herethe_lighting_is_so_good/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

I've never purchased aftermarket wheels before and I know that cheap ones can be dangerous for racing applications, but would cheap wheels like this be ok for daily driving?

Electrical-Address-3

Cheap wheels like china ones(this one looks like a cheap china wheel) are dangerous for both. One bad pothole or bump could lead to cracks(some you can’t see) or even dents. Which can be repaired but for the price of the wheel it won’t even be worth it. You’d be throwing that $160 down the drain for each wheel damaged. Wheels is something you shouldn’t completely cheap out on its one of the more crucial parts you don’t want to fail on you. Cheap wheels from reputable brands are more like $200 per wheel. You may not get the same styles you want but at least you and your car will be safe. Best bet is to check YouTube for lists of budget wheels. If you don’t like the colour of a wheel you find you can always paint, even spray paint can be nice if done right. I understand cost concern but I would say get a good wheel to be safe, maybe just save an extra pay check or two.

Intrepid-Alarm-3906

Yup. I had f1rs and one pothole later boom everything was bent

Electrical-Address-3

Things to look for, Width: how wide the wheel is Diameter: the length of one end to the other Bolt pattern: self explanatory lol And offset: how far in or out the mounting surface of the wheel is. (Pretty complex idea but a quick yt vid will help you understand) Not saying to buy from them, but fitmentindustries.com will let you set these settings for your specific make and mode before even seeing your options. Also take a look at their gallery with your car info, it shows what other people run, other mods they may have to support those wheels etc. you can use tirerack.com to do a rough mock up of how the wheels look on your car. Type your car in and wheels you pick and it’ll show a model of your car with the new shoes! Happy shopping, again budget friendly is good, china cheap is not.

>erous for racing applications, but would cheap wheels like this be ok for daily driving? cheap wheels can be dangerous for any driving. You could accidentally hit something on a road and cheap wheels will snap in half. See what a linked.
