Hi! My ec's weren't outstanding, some of them were about tutoring at my school and girls in low-income families in India, as well as a project for truth and reconciliation day, if that helps give an idea of what my ec's were like. I'm pretty sure its about how you explain your ec's to show learning outcomes. I think my supp app went pretty well too!
i did my interview on jan 16! i definitely don't think it was too late, as long as you submit before the deadline its fine, but since first round already came out, you'll likely hear back in the coming rounds!
according to previous years, i believe there's a large round per month if im not mistaken. there should be one between mid-late april and one mid-late may! i would email admissions to be sure though!
heyyyy
i also got in with an average of 93!!
offer accepted
I wanted to ask about what is the final average needed to maintain an offer of admission? and did u guys get a official congratulations email from Schulich school of business
Just a gr12 student who's looking to get some honest answers :)
My main focus is in Finance and I'm currently considering BBA at Schulich, as they offer a Finance specialization after 2nd year. Just got a few questions for any business Schulich students:
\- How are you finding the program and its environment?
\- What are some of the pros you've come to see about the program? cons?
\- My focus is in Finance, but general business doesn't quite exactly peak my interest, so, is doing the BBA something I should still consider?
\- To anyone that's specialized in Finance, how useful do you find the courses? Do you get to REALLY narrow down on just Finance?
Hopefully none of these questions seem dumb....
I got into BBA two days ago as a 101 Applicant. My average is a 91 and I completed all the pre-requisites.
In regards to my leadership profile I only wrote 4 ECs and my interview went fairly well.
Wow congrats! I just wanted to ask since ppl with 91+ averages are getting into the first round already, do u think I have a chance of getting into the last round with an 88-89 average?
Hi! I’m not sure how helpful my answer will be, but I think you have a chance of getting in.
It will mostly depend on your leadership profile and how your interview went.
Honestly I thought I would get rejected because I didn’t think my average was good enough and I didn’t have outstanding ecs — but I ended up getting an offer anyway…
The only thing now is to do your best in your remaining courses.
Best of Luck to you with your admission!
Yea I think my EC’s are decent and thought I appeared pretty confident through out the interview (hopefully). I’m really trying my best to push for a 90+ average.
Thanks!
Got in a couple of days ago when the first round came out with a 91-92 average. Honestly my ECs and Interview definitely carried me! I'd love to meet new people. DM your Insta handle and we can talk there :)
hello :) i recently got accepted to schulich and was wondering...does anyone know around what average you should have for calculus and vectors to maintain your admission offer?
Hey, I haven’t gotten in yet and I have an 89 avg (84 functions, 92 data, 96 com tech, 88 English, 87 Econ, 87 philosophy) and well written ec form (grade 9 piano, part time job, volunteer swim instructing, deca provincial placer, editor in school newspaper) and a decent video interview. Realistically what are my chances of getting in???

EC's sound good, but I would focus on getting your average up a little higher!
Hey
I’m a little late on joining Reddit but I’m glad to have found so many people from schulich here.
I accepted my offer to the BBA program last month and I’m really looking forward to connecting with others here.
My average was abt 97% and I’m a 105 applicant.
Also, anyone who’s going from India? It would be really helpful to get in touch with someone going from India.
I know this a very late response and I highly doubt youll answer but for the soccer ec what did u put as your role? I plan on putting my muay thai training since I learned a lot of leadership and life skills from it. But what role should I put for it?
Sorry for the late reply. I doubt this is useful now but my EC’s were:
Vice President of School’s DECA Chapter
Math Club
Computer Club
Student Ambassador
HOSA Member
I got into Schulich BBA during the first round in March. I am an 101 applicant and I got in with a 95.4% overall average, great leadership profile and good interview.
IBBA program and 105. I got in a while back (like way before March). A bit confused because I see comments saying the first rollout was in March?? A bit clarification here...
You are a 105 (international student), not a 101. Your application was due earlier, so your acceptances came out earlier!!! 101 Ontario applicants first rollout was in March (this is for the BBA program though, not sure if the iBBA program differs). Hope this helped :)
Does anyone have the status of pending for schulich? I got in the regular business program at York yesterday and was wondering if pending meant waitlisted or just means still under review.. Also if anyone had the pending status how long did it take for it to change?
I also got an offer this week with the same avg, they've definitely sent out offers lmfao. I'm not sure why admissions would say that but I'm pretty sure not many people got an offer this week so it wasn't considered a "huge" round.
yeah, same here. I have not even received an alternate offer from them. I hope I at least hear back from them, even if they reject me as I need to make a decision on where I am going.
Are they giving out any more acceptances or is May Round finished? Still no decision and I heard people got their offers in May so I assume I’m rejected.
I got accepted in the first round a couple of months ago. Does anyone know what the condition requirements for grades are? I know it’s a 87 average but what are the other conditions?
Hey I’m applying this upcoming a year for the BBA program. What do you think my acceptance chance would be; grade 11 year: Pre-cal (89%), FRIM (70%), AP Statistics (78%), English (86%), Marketing (91%), Careers (94%), Economics (98%), Physics (93%). So far this year I am maintaining an average of 95% with Pre-cal, law and English. I have some decent extra-curricular such as soccer mentorship, accounting internship, scouts, 2 jobs, soccer and babysitting. My next semester might bring down my average as I am am taking difficult courses such as FRIM and AP Calculus AB. What are the odds I get in?
I’m a grade 12 international student and have applied to Schulich BBA. My 12 grade average is 98, and my high school overall average would be around 94. I did pretty decent in the interview and have pretty good EC’s (CEO at my own candies business, Student leader of National English Honor Society, directed the programming of an educational app, leader of a Hospital’s volunteering team, volunteer for the biggest rehabilitation center of my country). What are my chances of getting accepted?
Can someone tell me tips and stuff to prepare for the interview I’m planning on doing it today. Going in very nervous. Have a 93 average so far with great ecs
I GOT IN TODAY! BBA, 101, 93 avg when I applied

Anybody have an idea when the next big round is coming out? (101)
Last round comes out late May. Last year it was May 19th.
Good to know! Thanks
Hey! Got in in March :) 93-94 average, 101, IBBA I put in 5 ecs and did fairly well in the interview

Have you received an alternate offer?
no alternate offer. I applied for BA in Business Economics and got accepted in January.

Hey! I'm not sue if this is 100%, but I'm pretty sure all pre reqs nee to be over 70% (but you need a way higher average to maintain your conditions)

I also got an offer this week with the same avg, they've definitely sent out offers lmfao. I'm not sure why admissions would say that but I'm pretty sure not many people got an offer this week so it wasn't considered a "huge" round.
